I have had six or so of their cues , all used . The cues I had were very well made and seemed like a lot of cue for the money .Their shop refinished a few for me...great work and excellent communication . It seems like 30 years ago the market was flooded with used Phillippis' so flipping one to make a buck was tricky .

Yes, and no... When your holding one it's pretty clear it's a polyresin ball and not pure phenolic. Plus after a few months of modest play they will be dull and surfaced scratched all to hell.

No amount of polishing will return the out of the box luster.

Similar to what Joe does with MMA and his "Fight Companion" podcasts, it would be wonderful to see him do one from 2026 US Open.

Along with a referee at the table I would suggest another rules official monitoring the live broadcast for potential rules infractions.

Of course this can't be done at all tables, but would be of great use imo as the field winds down.

E/West TX interstates 10 and interstate 30, getting thru the major cities on these Interstates, in the day is a joke.
90% of the large rigs use these, and there's Always construction going on.
On My way back from Houston to CO I got as far as Fairfield x197..... Dallas was about 140 more miles north.....Next, I then headed West thru Waco towards Stephenville. Cut up hwy 281 north, avoided Dallas/Ft. Worth and came out in Wichita Falls, saved me an easy 1-2 hrs.
Forgot the old TX state hwys are thee BEST.
3 lane for passing then two lane, Very FEW semis, and everyone's going 80mph+.
I felt allot safer and Not one traffic jam.
