No... way.

For those that don't know: IMO's, a local favorite -- is a cracker thin pizza covered with provel cheese which is a processed blend of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone. To say the least, it is an acquired taste and if you're not from STL and been eating it since birth it's a tough swallow. If you must seek out a midwest specialty go to White Castle, lol.

I would hold off on the White Castle until after you have any firm commitments, you need to set aside a clear block of "potty" time.

small tight pockets in one pocket good or bad?

The owner where I play is a 1 pocket player and also a Diamond Dealer so he ordered several tables with extended sub rails taking pockets to 4 1/8” for 1 pocket.

It took a small adjustment but I actually like how they play and I play rotation on these tables as well. While the pocket is tighter, I came to the realization that when they extended the sub rails to take it to 4 1/8”, that this shortened the shelf a bit as compared to the other standard 4 1/2” Diamonds he has there. So I actually think that while the opening is smaller, the shelf being shortened actually lends to them playing a little better.

Help with ferrule material

I know it's a long shot but I had to give it a try. A couple years back I bought an old, factory, two piece Canadian dufferin cue. I didn't think much of it but it turned out to be my favorite hitting cue. It was soft and bouncy feeling, which I didn't know is how I like a cue to hit. The ferrule was loose, so I took it in and, not knowing any better I had them throw an ageis ferrule on it. The hit was now crisp and stiff, I never really cared for it after that. I'm trying to narrow down the possibilities of what ferrule material it could have been. I have 4 dufferin Canadian house cues, 2 of them have that ferrule. It's hits soft and absorbent but still had feel, unlike some ferrules. It is not resistant to dirt, chalk, or scratches (I can literally scratch it with my nail if I press hard enough), and it is not a super smooth/ slick surface. Like I said, it's soft, pliable, you can even see in one of the pictures that the ferrule is smushed on one side. And the reason I had to change it in the first place is because all of them seem to swell, and loosen over time. Any ideas boys?
In my world, fiber and cotton fiber are interchangeable. That is what Dufferin and many other used back in the day. Its still one of my favorite ferrule materials, although it isn't used much anymore.

Also, when deciding on what ferrule material to use, it isn't just the weight that matters. Weight, density, strength...etc, together make a good ferrule.

Use 100W-equivalent LED bulbs, which means 1,500 lumens, and generate only 16 watts.

Also you are probably breaking with your shoulder (pectorals and some bicep muscles) and not your hand (supinator and abductors) which give you that acceleration and snap. For the supinator think of the force of quickly twisting a screw-driver to tighten a screw. For the abductors think of grabbing a beer bottle by the neck and trying to rip the cap off with your looped index finger.
