yes, every year. it's a great event.

and there was no scheduling conflict, they did not overlap. also khalid played great against fedor. that was not just fedor being jetlagged

And I don't know who "Alex's dad" is, the heavy set guy on the left but when Kristina was down on a shot in that corner - i.e. looking directly in his direction, he pulled out his camera and took a picture. (EDIT: he then proceeded to clap at her when she was walking back to her table) That happened very early on and Kristina was down from then on.

Sofia Mast went hill-hill with Fefilova-Styer. They both made some mistakes but it was obvious Sofia was very tired and her shoulder was hurting. She did manage to get to hill-hill from 7-5 down but only because of an error or two by Fefilova-Styer.

Lots of good hill-hill matches today.

I'm a big fan of Sofia (she reminds me of granddaughter) and Jordan Helfery (that young lady can shoot for her age and is going to be a thorn in a lot of peoples sides), out of the four left I'll be rooting in this order:

Zlateva, Fefilova-Styer, Filler, then Tzu-Chien.

My guess is Tzu-Chien and Filler for the finals with Tzu-Chien taking it down, again.

It might also be a Shon Hardin.

In competition on the fields of friendly strife it's extremely difficult to overcome superior fire power with superior training. Coach McHargue taught us to do just that playing high school football. . He had me playing center at 155. Facing some 200+ lb middle guards. I earned All League my senior year. The big ones were easy. My toughest battle was a middle guard that weighed 170. He was Just Mean.
