The importance of first impressions was proofed last night playing leagues.

I arrived At Game time, screwed the stick together and walked into battle.
First rack, uh never got shape but refused to miss. The 8 ball was extreme and it dropped.
"That's gonna leave a mark." Was the silent self to self commentary. It did! I got extra chances in my 5 remaining games.

My Aramith Tournament Duramith's play very similar to my new Challenger's, although they get dirtier slightly faster. My Duramiths are fairly new though as I would think they only have about 10-12 hrs play on them. The Challengers I now have about three weeks on them with about a half hr a day play and have yet to clean them. I did play with my Duramiths a couple days to compare and not much of a noticeable difference other than the Duramiths didn't stay as clean. I think the break difference I noticed when first playing with them was more in line with them being new vs the Aramith Premiums I had used for 7 years or so. I really love how clean they stay vs the Aramiths.
I was cleaning my Aramiths every week and a half to two weeks, and I would assume it will be every 3-4 weeks now with the Challengers, but I don't chalk as much at home vs at league, In fact I almost never chalk for breaking at home, and maybe once every 5 shots or so when playing.

The Shanghai Masters is providing a Great Study via wst.tv.
Study the methods.Of course the eye paterns are key.
Kyren and Judd are both looking dialed in.
Watching the other match while Judd is crushing Higgins. That should be educational, Shirley it will be in the archives. 6 - nilly, "not quite a record but quite impressive" is the commentary

Allot of em play just for the excitement of hopefully playing a named pro, only to get their ass handed to em.
After awhile that get$ old, paying their rent and looking at a flow chart knowing when you Know your gonna lose.
I played thru the land of hard knocks for decades, I know the landscape and how a ''beat down'' feels when playing in large added money events hoping you'll at least get to the money rounds.
Then....
With the coin op table events/Olathe/Shooters for example 115 entrants, if you get into the losers brackets and make it to the money rounds you'll easily spend $50 in quarters.

I'm like that at times with tuxedo cues. Bought one while drinking one night. Had to have it. Most days, I don't like the look. Other days, I'd buy one if I like it.

I have a really nice 19 oz David Elliot cue (made in the nitti shop) it has two 29 inch matching maple shafts 13mm one has a milk dud the other a wizard i believe the shaft with the wizard tips hasn't been chalked the other shows normal use .

Cue is in good used condition has a few dings in the bottom of the butt it seems all of mine get them..not bad but shown in photos
Ive switched to lighter cues ..so im looking to trade this cue for a bk rush or cuetec breach and a little cash to even the deal..only cue trade id be interested is if you happen to have a 16 oz player you'd be interested in trading
I value the cue at 1500.00 ill take that in cas as well.
