I step forward with my forward foot into the shot, it gets my head and cue in the correct spot, my rear foot goes somewhere behind my front foot so I am comfortable.
i can make the inserts and i do have the die holder on my lathee. I was just asking if there was a faster way to cut a longer length of rod to a smaller size, since this material is flexing when i try to do any length longer than 2.5 inches at a timeMetal split die in a tailstock holder.
Pretty straight forward and simple.
Do the i.d. work after it's installed
Is Atencio officially representing the US in MR events? I would think Francesso-Varner HAS to be in consideration, imo...he's young, and has already won a ranking event I believe. I don't know if I would bet against him vs. either Thorpe or Styer...If SVB and Sky don't want to come to Johan's Mosconi Cup camp, then they need to be kicked off the team.
Team USA need 5 players who are fully committed.
Gorst
Styer
Bergman
Atencio
Thorpe
That's my 5 for the Mosconi.
Reminds me of something my grandpa said to me many years ago. July in Alabama is HOT and HUMID, yet he always wore the same style work coveralls every day. I asked him once why he never wore short pants in the alabama heat.A couple guys were in the pool hall the other night, wearing "shorts". The counter was all wondering if they went for the other team. Then we heard them speak. Ah, ok, they are European!
Elaborate?Wrong, he told me he'd pocket the hanging ball during the bank and it would spot up.
If they "have a hole" , as many times as they feel warrants it.Not with the frequency they do in 1p.
How many times in a row will a 9b game see neither player shoot at his hole?
Bergman has made no attempt to go to the tournaments to collect Mosconi Cup points so I am not sure how fully committed he is to the Mosconi Cup.If SVB and Sky don't want to come to Johan's Mosconi Cup camp, then they need to be kicked off the team.

I always thought that a high school pool league would be a novel idea....like any other sport like football or basketball. Maybe 8 or 10 local schools in a league, playing each other in a round-robin schedule.I didn't take it as you were trying to dissuade me at all. I welcome all constructive and well thought out opinions.
At 12,000 sq ft. I have plenty of space to add the black ball tables without impacting my ability to have 20+ normal tables. I'm going to work with an architect out of Kansas that has experience designing multiple large pool rooms to lay out the hall to maximize my monetization of the space while accounting for appropriate team based seating around the tables for league play.
The Junior league will be an in house BCA league.
The APA operator gave me the contact information for the local BCA and TAP operators in the area and USAPool is starting up in this area as well. Everyone I've run into in the APA leagues in my area are all mid to late 30s-60s in age. Also all the type of customers I'd expect to see in the hall.
I anticipate leveraging the Billiard Education Foundation to work with the schools to develop billiards clubs in the schools. Also one of my partners is retired High School teacher and will assist with communications to the schools / boards to facilitate conversations.
A Low Life. The WTF was in regards to the "enlarging the holes in a Magic Rack with a pencil", who does that????????![]()
What is really sad is the young players that aren’t even that good and not naturally gifted that say they want to become a pro player. They have absolutely no chance.I saw a thread on Facebook where Colston Harrelson (great young player) has been matching up with people for $10k sets. Someone commented something about being careful going down this road and make sure he has a backup plan if the pool thing doesn't work out. He took a lot of heat for that, but it got me thinking. I see tons of junior players out there asking for sponsorships and traveling from city to city playing big tournaments. Very few of these young players are going to carve out a living playing pool. Not sure what kind of conversation I'm even looking for here, but does anyone else see what I see? There are teenagers out there posting of big tournaments and matchups that can't string a legible sentence together.
