Yapp winning, with a foul! Just like Maradona making a goal with his hands :D

Pro tennis players often challenge line calls near the end of the match or on match point--because they have nothing to lose. If WNT rules allow players to challenge a shot and the refs are allowed to look at replays, then a good end of match strategy would be to challenge any shot where an opponent's cue stick or hand (or other body part) comes close to a ball.
I'd impose a time limit like they do in cricket. 15 seconds to challenge a call and use the DRS. Otherwise sit down and shut up. They get a set amount of referrals, if the challenge is inconclusive, they lose the referral. If the challenge is upheld, they maintain the ability to refer.

Works very well in cricket.

Maybe one year they’ll do a straight pool tournament on the Bigfoots at DCC. Then we can all see how hard it is or isn’t for someone to put up a 150 ball run.
I dried my ears off (mostly anyway) on 10 and 12 foot snooker tables - pool balls of course. I doubt pros would have issues with a big table - they got the game itself wired. Filler and Gorst...

US Open 08/18-23

this man doesn't even understand the behavior of a cueball after hitting a cluster of balls to identify a foul,
Not true. At one tournament, Marcel called a double hit foul on Skyler purely based on the cue ball movement after the shot. He called it immediately and with authority. Skyler protested, but Marcel stood his ground. And, despite CJ Wiley recreating the shot and saying Skyler didn't foul, anyone who knows basic pool ball physics knew Skyler's shot was a foul and that CJ's recreation did not replicate Skyler's shot. The fact that CJ claimed his recreation of the shot was somehow indicative of what Skyler had done demonstrates what a charlatan CJ has become.

Skyler's double hit foul was thoroughly discussed on here, so you can read about it if you want.

Pros were playing on 10 foot tables with 4.5 inch pockets before most of us were ever born. Steve Mizerak says in his book that the greatest thing he ever heard of Mosconi doing was running over 300 on a 10 foot table with 4.5 inch pockets.
IMO they only need to stay on it. Especially WMs supposed meticulous position. Big Foot have big position zone and lots of breathing room.

Had Fedor noticed the oscillation of the 9ball, he could have requested a video review of the shot (for you old timers, this happened very late in the Darryl Peach vs Francisco Bustamante World 9ball semifinal in 2007 and the original call was changed.) Unfortunately, unless somebody deems the shot worthy of review, it will not be reviewed, and in this case nobody did.

It was another great final. You could see how badly the nerves were for both players at the end. I thought it was a good lesson for amateurs to see that even the absolute best players in the world get nervous and miss shots they would ordinarily never miss.
I like to see the pros miss and feel the pressure because it makes me feel better about when I miss 🤣
