My son called in on Derby day & I sez put a £1 e/w on Ruler Of The World & take 8/1 & it won.
French Derby next day so I bet £1 e/w on nummber 8 & it was 3rd so not so bad.
Still to pick my greyhound in the Derby & right now I aint gotta clue!

Sorry you had a bad experience with the APA but it's the exception, not the rule.
I know this because I actually play in it, and I'm guessing you don't, at least not for a long time.
10 years of actual APA experience beats 30 years of "mostly professional" pool experience,
if you want to make an informed opinion about what the APA is really like.

Thanks for the red. You broke my cherry! First red for me. lol Maybe I should have hyphenated the term "real pool-players" I don't feel that APA is "real pool". It's a game of handicap manipulations that has nothing to do with playing "real pool". Sorry if you disagree but that's how I see it and I've been deeply involved in the mostly professional side of pool for over 30 years. I hate to see it ruined with a league that only cares about making money for the St. Louis pair. Have a good day sir!

Yesterday I traded my Schon Ltd 516 to Lenny Johnson, owner of Pockets Billiards in Tucson, for a Schon Elite #1 plus some cash. You asked me to let you know if I were interested in selling the 516. I told Lenny that you might be interested in buying it and he is interested in selling it. You can reach him at 520-571-9421. He's not there on Sundays or Mondays. As an aside, Lenny is going to be sending the 516 back to Evan Clarke to have it refinished. It does have some dings but nothing that refinishing won't fix.

Jerry, I watched the match with Hatch at the Mosconi Cup where you and Jay did the commentary..which was very good. Can you get me in the booth with you to do a couple of next years matches I know that we would work good together as we did the only time we did commentary together.
