Calvin will have his prostate cancer surgery May 24th at the VA in Shrevport,La., thanks for all your prayers for Calvin.

Calvin's old friend Mike Massey was doing an exibition in Shrevport,La a few weeks ago and heard about Calvin's condition, Mike called Calvin and they chated for about an hour, it lifted Calvin's spirits alot to hear from his old road partner.

Go to: http://www.playbca.com/Events/2013BCAPLNationalChampionships/2013BCAPLEntries.aspx

Then download the evetn you want to play. On the entry form you can pay the $25 player membership fee. This will allow you to play in the 9-Ball Challenge, or the singles events - (But not the open or leisure division). You can also then practice or play in the mini events for free table time since eveything is green fees.

Really is a good deal for someone who wants to play.

thanks for replying I have a question for you want to play that you have that small motor really powerful enough to work with turning tips and cleaning that motor looks small just wondering

I was thinking about who can win & I thought it's a level playing field nowadays so I hope the title goes to a flair player but it isn't always the case & the draw etc...

I shoot pool once in awhile with a school teacher from Ninilchik, named Brian Hickey. He is wanting to come to Vegas and shoot in July but there is no BCA on the Kenai. I told him to call you or PM you on the forums and maybe get some ideas. I hope you don't mind me giving him your number. He is a good and honest pool shooter. A friend of mine from Michigan wants me to go too , but again, no BCA in Kenai.

Tom - been quite busy last few months...will let up May 1. We will be going for lunch and buying a few things at Disney's Hollywood Studios maybe some day later this week but probably next week. I might be able to give you a week notice or maybe just a few days notice. Want me to do that? We can get three people in besides ourselves.

received the check, thanks. the grice material i got from prathers, and it is very hard to come by. they quit selling it about 10 years ago. it was just another siubsitute for ivory, but the company no longer makes the material because of the expense,
