Hi Dave,

where can I buy a Tomahawk rod in germany? Or what is the cheapest way to get one delivered to germany.

Thanks
Frank
It's pretty much the same as others you find on YouTube. You have to devise a way to hold the buffer's pad 3 inches below the bucket's rim. The buffer's shape will factor in how you do this. The main difference is the separator in the center. This also agitates the balls to prevent them spinning on an axis. I just cut a 5 inch round wooden disk about 1.75 inches thick and drilled eight evenly spaced 1/2 inch holes centered around the side. The spokes are reinforced plastic hose inserted with a bit of glue, then trimmed to 2 inches length. This separator just sits on the buffer pad. The top disk can be thin plywood with the carpet attached with a single staple in the center. This disk adds another polishing surface and helps with agitation. I also use a motor speed controller to slow it down a bit which reduces noise and vibration
Did you ever find a brochure for the cobra professional series? I am looking also.
Hey Ernie,
You still making 6 point full splice? If so I might have a project for you. If yes please text me at 509 392 9015. Thanks, Bob
I'm not sure of what type of wood is made of. I think it is black and white ebony but I'm not a wood expert. Sorry, I can't help you out. I have to say that shaft have a slight tapper roll just have to be safe
Glad you've been able to get out a few times. You'll probably see me in there sooner or later. I've been fired up to play so I've been in more. I've definitely heard of Schmelke cues I just don't know much about them. From my general understanding though they have a good reputation. The price for that sneaky seems very good. Never a bad time to invest in a new cue ; )
enjoyed speaking with you very much.
the only person I know that restores handle wrap, especially Cortland, would be
Drexler, Paul Drexler, PFD Studios.
The technique he employs is of his own development and the recipe is locked.
Those were two beautiful Joss West's you put out for sale, best wishes.
Hey Brent, I've actually been in the pool hall 4 or 5 times this winter. Since I couldn't get on the golf course today I looked at pool cues on the Internet. Billiard Warehouse had a good review of Schmelke cues - a custom made sneaky for around $150-160, joint, wrap, everything. There is another nice looking one around $250.
Know anything about the Schmelke cue? It's tempting, but then again, how much do I play? Not much! We'll see.
