Terry is good people, although I could never beat him on the pool table. He was always a couple gears ahead of me, he shoots a good game. Yea that is the Todd I was thinking of. I did get married but not to Sarah, just couldn't make that work. I will definitely hook up with you when I can get back up there. Hoping to come up this Oct. and maybe again during the Fur Rondy tourney.
Does Runner still work behind the bar at the new location, I heard the Palace moved down by Blues central, hope it still has the class of the old room.
No but I did sell a cue to Jason that had diamonds in it, most people called me Dick because that was my last name before I got married, Now the Hawaiians have nicked named me "Skinny Bones Jones". I was building cues up here before I left. Still some of the cues running around and I am just getting back into building them.
Just trying to contact anybody from Alaska, most of the players are known to me and just trying to get in touch with them. Thank you for your time.
Sounds good, hope the cue is treating him well. Sorry I do not think I know you, but when I get up there maybe I can buy you a beer, or we can play some pool.
Mahalo.

Used to live in Anchorage and play, played the palace on the old Seward and on c-street. Just thought this might be Todd who was friends with Justin the lawyer and Bill Johnson(rip). It has been a long time since I have had any contact with the pool community up there. Also does Rob Martin still play around up there? If he does, ask him to see the curly shafted cue. He will know who I am...Mahalo

Is this Todd from the old Billiard Palace in Anchorage, if it's not sorry for the interruption. If it is I need the seven and out in a race to nine, or how about some nine six one pocket. Let me know,

TY, I just saw the green ta gave me for my story. Thanks brother appreciate it! And yes it is a true story and as it turns out All THOSE waisted years in the pool hall weren't so waisted after all! Lol
I'm glad to see you still make New Year's Resolutions, they are very important in August and September.
I made a New Years resolution not to argue about anything that could be googled, or I didn't really care about. This falls into both catagories.

This may be true, however, pool is an exception in this particular area.

How many pool players in the BCA Hall of Fame came from affluent families or grew up with a "silver spoon" (of silver pool cue in this case) I believe on the average you'll find that the income of this group is "middle class" at best....and maybe even the low end of that scale. There's nothing wrong with this, it's just an interesting fact.

I'm not saying you have to be "middle class" or under to be mentally tough, however, it does encourage toughness in general when you don't have things easy.....this could also come from other things besides just financial examples.

Thanks for letting me know you like the shaft ! I KNEW it was quality and I'm thankful it works for you! I gave you positive FEEDBACK and if you have a chance, please do the same (it helps with my reputation when I sell something else). I DO have A LOT of pool equipment (new and used) and if you ever need anything, please let me know. Regards,
Wayne Nance
I have a ned Morris ebony with 4turquoise diamond inlays with actual diamond in each one along with a 1/2 carrot diamond in the but. Comes with two shafts. One is a low deflection tiger x shaft. The cue brand new was 1250. I will also throw in a in stroke buffalo leather case 3*7. Gymratt37@gmail.com
Hi,
Thanks. Not sure what I am going to do with it. If I decide to restore it, I will keep you in mind.
sam
Let me know if you want the BBC restored, I know a guy who restores cues no newer the a Willie hopped as a hobby. He does great work. He can also probably tell what's original what's not and make it factory new to BBC specks.
I know, he got back into the old problems for a while and had a rough run of it. Like I say though, last I saw him he was fishing in the summer and cleaned up. Hopefully he stuck to it.
Yea that is the cue I sent to Jason. Wish I had taken better pictures of it but it is what it is. Last I heard he was looking to sell it a few years back. When I heard this I could have cried. The cue hit really well and it was a hard one for me to sell due to what it took to make it and the way it played...
Where are from maybe we could hook up at a Tournament & tell war stories ;-).
I had orders to a Fast attack out of San Diego but they found the funding to keep the Tigrone in Commision for a couple of more years.
I live in Round Lake , IL ( Northwest suburb of Chicago ) but I shoot out of ( Kenosha ) Wisconsin.
Just a struggling "A" player used to make a lot of Money when I was in playing ring game 9 ball in the Navy.
Never got into the Tournament Circuit until recently really enjoy it when I have $$$.
