Appleton vs Hatch $20k -30K confirmed

Please PM me if you like Appleton in this match.

BTW, I have only witnessed Dennis Hatch playing pool one time in my life. At the DCC a few years ago, playing in the 9 ball event against Earl. He lost.

So I am a sucker, I have seen Appleton play much more and in more recent times.

Maybe this will help with you guys making a decision on who to bet on.

I played darren appleton a race to 21 ten ball a few weeks ago. I played rather poorly and lost 21-17. I felt like I should've won 21-14 when I look back at it. I think dennis will out break him with older cloth.

this game might be close.
but if they play on a tight table i think hatch will win big.
i know darren plays real good .

A lot of Brits don't consider themselves "European" and seem for the most part to have a bit more gamble than continental Europeans;)

This is true, I have lived over there and over here(us) and there is a similer amount of action. Some of the biggest bets I have seen in the UK are usually with one pro giving a banger insane weight. Money wise the Brits do bet real high though.

You're right, Chris does need a little something to make it an even game. But the results of that one match has some thinking that Chris made a bad game that he had no chance of winning. Like Chesscat saying "He was very wrong re his assessment of Stevie Moore." I know most will think that I'm delusional and biased because Chris is my boy but Stevie played real freakin good and Chris played as bad as I have ever seen him play. The second day was a 23 game difference mostly due to the fact that Stevie played perfect pool (it was the best performance I have seen myself by anyone). The final spread was 34 games and it just seems to me that a lot of people are under the impression that the game is really that far out of line. Had Chris jumped out early and put heat on Stevie, who knows??? I can't imagine Stevie offering more than 8 or 10 games if they tried to match up again and I will end it all if he gives Chris 30.....

Day 1- 35-28 Stevie
Day 2- 35-12 Stevie
Day 3- 30-26 Stevie

That's cool. I agree about Stevie's play on day 2. In fact, the entire time. I have stated before that I will bet every TAR race to 100 that niether player will break and run more than Stevie did. I admire Chris's game and would bet on him in most of his matches.

.
but if they play on a tight table

No American pool table can be tighter than the narrow and rounded pockets of snooker tables. All his life darren played 'pot the balck' on barboxes with rounded pockets and he should not have any problem playing on American equipment.

I am planning to go to Rum Runners in Las Vegas to watch darren play at 12 noon in a tournament. He and Shane are in the last 8.

Daren clobbered Freddie Boggs 6-0.Fredddie came to the table only few times and it was only to do the kick shots.

So... is the after party at Fatboy's? With flights so cheap now, is there any reason we all won't be there? lol

To the guy that likes my action, I'll go for a c-note. On the Hatch by 30...

Now, where is that light?

Dwight
