ABSOLUTELY!!! If you wish to learn how to bank that is.... May just be the best bank book of all... Not sure if there is another though......

Not only does it have great banking information... there are some good stories as well.

DIVE IN!! I usually don't spend much on pool literature but did on this one and it's certainly worth every one of the pennies it cost me. Great instruction and stories. Also very well edited
 
IMO the Beard's books and DVDs are a MUST HAVE for any player. Those that don't have them will eventually become the victims of those that do.

Don't be one of those victims.

Yes, yes, and a double yes.. If you dont learn anything from it, theres really no reason you shouldnt.., you will love the stories.. One of the best pool related books Ive read.

Freddy has a great system, and we should be very grateful he shared it with us. With a bit of practice you will find youself making more banks and getting better shape as well. Without a doubt Banking with the Beard has helped my game more directly and faster than any other book I've used, and there have been many.

"The Beards" training materials are some of the most useful you can get IMO. I'm a banking fool now. Well I was a fool before, but I do bank a lot better. Johnnyt

Get it, man. If you have any penchant for the physics of pool (current phd candidate here), the beard's book might inspire some ideas that can open up your game to new levels on much more than just banks. Robert Byrne's texts are also priceless gems of pool knowledge. I think even with those books on hand it'll take a while to really discover the secrets they store. Btw, anybody want to donate one of eddie robin's texts for cheap to a poor young one-pocket pupil?
