old guys wearing hustlin usa gear?

my thoughts exactly!

I'm 65...consider myself unique because I like T shirts with no advertising.
Anybody wants me to advertise for them, they'd better pay me, not the other way around.

I haven't ever figured out why people should pay a premium price for a t-shirt to advertise for somebody. If they don't pay me I don't advertise. On the other hand I have worn plain t-shirts and blue jeans almost exclusively since I got out of three cornered pants. For a year or two my bosses paid me very well to wear other clothes at work so I did. Other than that . . . I was married in blue jeans and t-shirt and plan to be buried the same way.

Breaktime Billiards is ready, it's just waiting for the city inspectors to come down and approve things...I was in there about 2 weeks ago and it is ready but you can't open the doors until city hall says you can...
They have big plans for lots of tournaments and even added money tournaments and taking over the other store next door, tearing down the wall and putting up bleachers to watch the tournaments ....
When they do open poolplayer2093, let me know when your going and I will come down and introduce myself...Always like to meet someone from the forum in person...

Poolplayer2093,

I play at Hardtimes in Sacramento and I'm well over 50 and I wear Hustlin USA T-shirts and I love supporting Tony and the sport. I love pool and I like his designs.

Maybe you might want to walk up to me and say something stupid like that to my face.

My name is Jeff Elliott and you are a pussy! You are just a nit saying something as stupid as that.

Easy there big fella, hehe. Calm down guys, I believe that the OP has stirred up a hornets nest, lol, but it is just a question, and there is no need for name calling and high blood pressure. I am 31 years old, and I feel like I'm 60, but I have the utmost respect for the "old" guys, but I also expect "old" guys to be more classy and mature than some of these posts I've read. Lets keep this civilized guys and gals.

anyone else think it's strange to see old guys wearing hustlin usa gear. i saw an old guy at hard times sporting a hustlin usa t shirt and it really looked weird.

what do you guys think?
Question to the Pool fashion guy! Which hardtimes to you speak. If Sacramento, define old.

from what i hear that place is going to be great. i thought it was fine when it was championship but i'm looking forward to seeing it with all the improvements everyone keeps telling me about.

i dig running into other az'rs too. i think i've met like 6-7 in person and it's always cool.

i've been to both but i'm talking about the one in sacramento. i'd say over 50 is what i consider old. maybe that's too young though?
This is still AMERICA-correct!!! The last I heard, all Americans along with our "Constitutional Rights". We also have the right to wear what f**k we choose. I'm 61 and I wear what ever, I like or is comfortable. I have never seen a AGE LIMIT TAG on any clothing item in a clothing store!!! Your original post was almost funny, but it was fairly stupid. You have the right to say it. But it was was a stupid question, in my old and wiser opnion!

Why are you so angry man? all i said was that i thought it looked strange. i didn't even come close to implying that they shouldn't be wearing it so that "constitutional right" comment is taking things a little too far.

get your head straight old man. it wasn't an insult

everyone needs to calm down. it was a harmless question/opinion.

I believe that at the age of 65, everyone should play pool in the nude. You're all invited to my house to shoot a few games on August 29. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!:yikes:

When I first read your initial post I was also somewhat irritated, since I am a 69 year old player, a regular at Hard Times, Sacramento and often wear Hustlin USA shirts. Maybe a simple explanation is better than a smart ass critique of your post and here it is.

I started wearing them at the Derby this year. They are possibly the most comfortable shirt you can wear when playing pool for an extended period of time. They look as good as anything else I can find to wear that is pool related and the owner is a regular at Hard Times and I am buying from a local businessman who supports pool.

I will be at the tournament tomorrow wearing My Hustlin USA shirt and most of the young guns there will have their hands full if they draw me no matter what shirt I wear. John Henderson

Thank you John! That was a great post.

forget the name of the comedian I should credit this to, but it cracked me up:

"I saw a girl in the mall the other day. GUESS was printed on her sweatshirt. So, I walked up to her and said 'implants' "

what do you guys think?

I'm really glad you brought this up. I lay awake nights thinking about the same thing. I mean seriously, old guys wearing young cool chic clothes, like "Hustlin" garb. That's definitely bad news and could spell the end of pool as we know it. Can you imagine what would happen if some of these old men were shown on television wearing Hustlin clothing? What an outrage that would be and it could spark protests across the country and the world. And it could get violent!

I will confess that I am a closet Hustlin wearer. I would never consider wearing any of my Hustlin clothes in public, but once in a while I throw on a shirt and admire myself in the mirror and think about the old days when I could play. Ah memories, ain't they grand?

Speaking of sensitive, have you looked in a mirror lately? I guess you missed the JOKE part of my post. You know, like the whole thing.

Just practicing for the future

Just what do you want old guys to wear?
Maybe you should invent / design some pool gear for us?
