Matt,
You're hysterical thinking you need the 7.
I do have 2 Black Boars and I play with the plainer of the two. It is the SWEETEST hitting cue I have ever played with. Anyone who ever picks it up loves the way it hits. It's just perfect. If I ever lost it, I would pay $6,000 for another one, because there's nothing liking finding the "one." I love that cue, and having that feeling is worth every penny to me.
I can also tell you from the picture that the cue Tony is holding is obviously not finished, though it does have an ivory-scalloped butt cap. Tony is all about quality and craftsmanship. My cue looks great, plays better, and wears well.
As for his new shafts they play great too. I would happily put my predator shaft away if I could get my hands on one. He promised to make me one but I've fallen down on his list of who gets the cool stuff. I can't complain. He gave me two cues, a lot of knowledge, fueled my passion for the game, and gave me an appreciation for cuemaking. This is not a greedy man.
I'll post some pics as soon as I figure it out.
Sueyen
Wonderful words from a lovely woman and talented pool player!
Sueyen, since you're not using your fancy BB cue, can I borrow it for a while? Maybe it will fuel my passion to play a bit better (and practice more) and try you with the 8 again. I don't mind that it has your name on it. Food for thought, anyhow. Until then, henceforth I need the 7.
Let me know if you need help photographing your cue and posting pics.
Matt
