Wow am I excited about Frost and Shane match!

But I see that TAR has ANOTHER great poster. I cant believe we cant get these posters in poster size for our home gamerooms!

I would think some enterprizing guy would make it happen.

I would love to get these from TAR and let them make some bucks on them, I think they would sell like hotcakes.

What do you guys think?

J/K about the complaint TAR, I do appreciate the efforts, I really do.

Make them poster size....whatever that is.... and I am in.

I would also be interested in the older ones too.

I will send $$ as soon as you let me know.

Hows that?

Ken

If it's cheaper to mail smaller ones, you can take a regular sized poster to Kinkos and they can blow it up to poster size and even laminate it.

Sorry Folks - Shane blows out Frost- put that on the poster

I definitely think there should have been a quality opponent for Shane - where's the respect for Shane's Game. What Has Frost won ? o'yea 3rd place singles barbox 1999. Cliff Joyner won and Mario P. (fillippino kid) beat frost like 9-0 winning,3700.for second.

I have all of the event flyers in a high enough resolution to do poster size prints and we recently found the capability to print them in good quality with a price people can afford.

We will have them for sale hopefully sometime in August. We made some up for the Hatch/Appleton match and they came out very nice.

Thanks for the encouragement.

Are they going to be signed by the players? Maybe having some options, such as signed, unsigned, framed, etc. could make you guys some extra money. Good idea-they should sell well. Good luck!

My man, Frost has won on the box I think the last two times they've played? I'm sure you can find someone to take Scott even. Go to the action section and show them your belief in the young gun.

How about autographed copies for some premium? I'm sure there are people who would be interested, and could be another way to show some love to the players, too.

wrong sir

Great idea but couldn't be more wrong. Did you know that Scott has Shane stuck either 20 or 30K on the barbox? Maybe next time Shane is trying to get revenge on someone who has beat him multiple times for thousands of dollars he will make sure to get in touch with you.

Don't take this as being mean, it's just that I think you posted without knowing all of the facts.

You do realize that gambling & tournament play are two different animals, right? Shane has not won playing barbox 9 ball against Scott. I believe they've played 3 times.

When they play 8 ball, Shane wins. When they play 9 ball (which this is) Scott has won. I'm sure Shane would say that Scott is a "quality opponent" don't you think? LOL

EDIT - looks like everyone read the thread the same time I did. When I started my reply, no one had posted in response to Hollywood and by the time I finished, there were a few responses ahead of mine. I wasn't trying to pile on.

I hear Scott Frost will be in town today...if this is true his ass better not be allowed to shoot on Table 29(thats the Game Table) or I'll be pissed off.

I would also be totally interested in posters of some of these epic matches.

I mean better to buy the poster and frame it yourself with the cost of shipping these days.

Good luck TAR.

Why not? Both of these guys are pros. If Scott hits balls for a day before Shane on the same table it isn't going to make any difference. Shane will be there Wednesday and you can bet he will put in his time on the table.

According to you it is Diamond that doesnt play all that tight. What's to figure out? If there is something gaffed with the table that a guy has to figure out we will just use another table.

At first they are going to be unsigned and unframed. Probably sell for around $20 each. We have done the autograph thing and split the money with the players before the only problem was after paying for printing, shipping and all the hassle of keeping everything straight it just wasn't worth the effort.

We may do something in the future on site at events with autographed stuff. We'll just have to see.

As far as the framing, to ship something in a frame is a pain and expensive and the whole point we kept running into is that people like the posters but do not want to spend $100 on one.To print, frame, pack and ship a 16x20 or 18x24 poster for any less than that makes no sense so we are just going to do the posters themselves. We may start bringing a couple framed and autographed posters to events and either auctioning or raffling them off.

I think posters will be great. On the shipping dont frame them, the consumer can do that. Just roll em up and putem in a shipping tube. And mass print like 500 of em to save on costs. I would pay 20 for one.

Holly Wood you're an idiot.

Mikey Frost, love your post on the Iowa scene but thats dumb not letting them play on the table some before the match. Its a player's right if he shows up early to feel out the equipment. And where is the advantage if they both do it?

Having recently renovated a home office, I can confirm for those interested that poster frames can be bought for a very cheap sum at an art supply store like "Michael's" or even Wal-Mart & K-Mart. Paying for TAR to package & ship it framed is like throwing money out of your car window as you're driving down the road.

LOL, thanks for the laugh. :D

Agreed - again.
