I have always wondered about the white Cuetec that Allison won so many tournaments with. Did she actually use a fiberglass-cladded SST shaft with this cue??? I have looked very hard every time she is on ESPN and have yet to ever see the SST logo on the shaft of her cue (and it would be VERY noticeable), or any other logo for that matter. I often wondered if she had the Cuetec people NOT clad her shaft with fiberglass. Could someone please clear this up???

I believe her cue was an old model that did not have the SST logo, but it did have the fiberglass.
Earl used an SST shaft as well. In the old days it was stock, but later he had the taper changed and turned town, to where probably most of the fiberglass was gone.
I have an R360 shaft and it is a decent shaft. It is very low deflection, as low as an OB-1 or Predator 314-2. Has a bit of a different hit, with the hollow graphite core and the hollow ABS ferrule. Whether that is good or bad is subjective, but it doesn't bother me. A few cons about the shaft....the stock tip sucks big time. Also the shaft is a bit on the light side, around 3.2-3.3 oz which makes the cue a little too rear balanced for me. Also one weird thing is that the logo on the shaft has no finish over it, the shaft in fact has no finish at all near the joint. so the logo rubs off eventually and gets dirty. I had to lacquer it myself.
