Talked with Terry Ardeno today

I was able to give Terry Ardeno a phone call today. He is at home for now, and still under the doctor's care - 24/7. He seemed in great spirits, although he sounded a bit tired of being in bed. He's upstairs and the computer is downstairs, so he's at a disadvantage in that regard. He told me to tell everybody that he thanks them for all of their support and prayers. He is truly humbled by the outpouring of love he has received in the forums.

In my book, Terry is #1 - get well big guy - we all miss you around here!

Thanks for the update Black Jack, this must be a difficult time for his family also. Lets hope ( and pray ) he gets better and things return to normal.

Talked to Terry a little today

I talked to Terry a little while today. He is feeling a little better and was able to get out of bed by himself, a huge step in his mind I could tell. Best he can understand they are talking about several months of antibiotics yet. Still he is very happy to be home.

The laptop and wireless router if needed should be a done deal soon so hopefully we will have Terry back online at least a little bit when he feels up to it. The surgery and infections together have left him feeling run down. On the plus side he is feeling enough better to notice some of the pills are giving him a little buzz now! :D

As always he is in good humor and thankful for what he has. He did ask that I thank all that prayed and are praying for him. He doesn't know about anything else yet.

I know Terry appreciates the concern expressed by his fellow AZ'ers. I hope that if I am laid up somehow, a couple of you guys will keep me in mind. I don't know Terry personally, but from his posts I know him a little. I am surely hoping for a good recovery for him.

You are one of the good guys and a valuable contributor here. No question that we would remember you too if you were in need of some encouragement and support. The forum is at it's best when one of our own is in need.

great to know Terry is back home, treatment goes better if you are in an atmosphere you are used to
 
I will bet Terry really appreciates everyone's good thoughts and efforts.

There are some genuinely good people on this forum. I have to keep reminding myself sometimes! :smile:

I agree there are many great people on this forum, and yes a person could forget that. Terry, Hu and yourself are way cool. This forum has become a important part of my day and I believe I am not the only one who feels that way. I am way to busy to be here but some how I am, Don't tell my wife:D.
