I'm concerned. I thot I saw in a chatroom during a live pool feed a fleeting mention of possibly a health issue. I couln't scroll thru a chatroom history to be certain. Is Aaron OK? does anyone know? I hope I am 100% wrong. He's a private guy re health. He's a great guy to have in the poolroom.

Aaron is not only a great man, but the best wheelchair player I ever saw, maybe the best ever. In tourneys or for the cheese, Aaron dominated for many, many years. He also played in "able bodied" events, often finishing in the top four. He won more than one of these tournament from his chair! And that's with many good players in it too.

I can remember many times in Reno Aaron would go up against a "name" player, and at first they felt a little sorry for him sitting in that chair. After he beat them they were feeling sorry for their self for underestimating him. Aaron beat some big names in his pool career. He was a formidable foe for anyone. I don't know how much he's playing anymore, but I will never forget "Ironsides" the greatest chair player of all time!

he is a wheel chair player but he can play faster than some of the pros who ambulate on their legs.I am very impressed by Aaron.

I talked to him a couple of weeks ago and he was being moved from the hospital to the rehab facility, he told me he should make a full recovery,

And yes JAY i agree Aaron is a great person and a good friend.
IM sure he will be back to running racks soon.

Jay,

You wouldn't be refering to a certain player with the initials ES would you? I was there!

Maybe-

3railkick do i know you?

Some have that misfortune.

PM me please-I'd like to hear more about Aaron's recovery/rehab. Is he rehabbing in the IE/Murrieta area somewhere? I hope he recovers soon.

Thanks for the update-sounds like good news.

ps: Don't tell-but that man is really inspirational to be around. I love his "when I get on my feet, I'll pay you back" line. He's one of the good guys.

For those concerned,

I just got off the phone with him, he is coming home tomorrow to continue recovery, he is recovering well and is in good spirits. He hopes to be back to normal in a month or so.

I had the opportunity of meeting aaron towards the end of vnea this year. we spent some time chatting while I smoothed out his Tad shafts. He is truly a great person too be around and always positive, I hope one day more people can be like he is, not just in public but private as well.

Here's to a speedy recovery and if I can help with anything pls let me know.

Am glad to hear Ironside will be ok.
No more Filipino food for Aaron. He likes them too much and there's a Filipino party all the time in his neck of the woods.
Shooters and Stix are missing his action.
