US open Player list? is there one

I think that is pretty good. Pool Players normally dont like to part with cash until the last possible moment, if then.
It sucks, the Tawainese never show for the US Open. Were they to send a contingent of their best in the order of the same number as the Philipines sent they would be tough to beat.

Those 3 guys alone would be seriously entertaining to watch do battle in the US Open. All 3 would be as likely as anyone to take the title.

And speaking of Jung-Lin Chang, did you know that he won 6 of the first 9 stops on the now defunct Guinness 9 Ball Tour in 2007?

Spoke with Barry today. 190 paid entries! I'm thinking they may fill. I wouldn't be surprised to see 40-50 players sign up on site.

Last year, Alex and Efren didn't show so I'm glad I will finally get to see them play in person. It will be too bad if Dennis doesn't show though.

I have a computer hooked up to my tv and do a lot of my interneting sitting on the couch with my wireless keyboard and mouse. My daughter doesnt normally pay much attention because there is no sound. But when she saw your cat with headphones, she nearly jumped through the tv. And when I scrolled away to respond... she was in tears.
Thanks for the link and I can't believe Mike Sigel is going to play. This is good news to see one of the best players ever entered in the US Open on the list for this year's event. Mike was called "Mr. Finals" at one point in his career and believe me if he's anywhere close to his old self the rest of the players should be looking hard to see if he's in their bracket. I can't wait to get to the tournament this year.......

Don't get your hopes up. Mike Sigel is not playing.
They put down everyone's name who has ever won the US Open because they get free entry (pre-paid). He won't even play in any FL events since he can't win. He is a "bye" these days.
Pretty much sticks to local pool halls and tries to find people who will listen to him rant on and on about how great he is.
LOL! Most champion pool players seem to have a big ego. Mike Sigel is no exception.
After all, if a pool-playing competitor doesn't think they're the BEST, they just might get beat by their opponent. There is something to be said about the power of positive thinking. :smile:
