Let me start off by saying, it would be an honor and a privilege to play on Team USA in the Mosconi Cup! I've been playing this game for over 30 years! I'm a great player for the cash so I know I can handle the pressure. So just imagine how I'll play for my team and my country! Vote for me and I can promise that aside from my heart and talent, my presence alone on Team USA will instill fear in Team Europe! All the nominees are champions and friends of mine, but I believe I am the best man for the job. Sincerely, Dennis Hatch

Dennis I voted for you and tonight I will be streaming at my site www.ontherailtv.com and will be asking my viewers to vote for you also.

Everyone knows you can win. Seems almost like a no brainer to me that Hatch is the logical pick. He breaks the balls better than everyone on that list and in these type of short races that break has to work to win.

Get Dennis Hatch in there, I'm going to vote for him again on a different computer!

Dennis:

After pondering each candidate's pros/cons (and doing some preliminary filtering as mentioned here), you won my vote. I'd already placed my vote for you yesterday, even before seeing your post above.

Good luck my friend. I know Ralf Souquet mentioned at one point you'd be an incredible asset to Team USA, so, coming from Ralf, you certainly have the respect of Team Europe!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you,
-Sean

P.S.: Oh, and Johnny Archer said the same thing in an interview that I recall -- that you'd be one of his first picks!

Dennis Hatch Mosconi Cup

Hey Dennis, I already voted for you yesterday. Exactly as you said it, you will instill fear in the opposition, along with your great play.

Your friend,
GREG

same here... voted for you before I even saw or read this thread. I really hope you can make the team. But like Bartrum mentioned, you really need to become more visible. With most folks, the only ones they remember are the names they read yesterday, so to speak. Good luck, I think you'd make a fine addition. plus you could kick Drago's ass if he get's out of line. I'd like to see the Europeeean's try to throw a pacifier in your direction.... :D

Hey Dennis, I'm from Canada and your game is awesome to watch. I put my vote in for ya yesterday. I hope you get the spot

Nice to see you on the forum, Dennis. I voted for you before I saw this post, because I think you play the best of anyone on the list. Smooth, super-accurate, great control, great power when needed.

Good luck!

-Andrew

Welcome to AZ and hope you get your wish for the Mosconi Cup. Some players just know how to win - Dennis is obviously one of them. The first time I saw him play was at the DCC a few years back against Strickland. One of the best short race matches I have ever viewed.

Despite my fondness for John Schmidt, his recent injury made me consider you more than he. I wound up voting for you. Remember one thing. This is OUR game. They still come to the US to play in tournies. Show them what kind of game we have in the Northeast. Get sleep and be ready to play from 11 to 4 pm. In other words, you are representing more than just yourself. I'll be out there myself, passing out the US flag to our fans and cheering the boys on. Make us proud.

ps: as much as I respect Mika's game, there is NOBODY I'd like to see take the short end of the stick as much as him........errrrrr.......well, ALMOST as much as the dreaded YANKEES!!!

As an European I hope that you do not get on the team, you're way too good!!! :D

Alex Lely, the European Team Captain, mentioned in another thread that he was real happy that you and Rodney Morris can not both be on the team, so it's no doubt that the Europeans fear your power already.

Oh, and welcome to the forum! Hope you will contribute every now and then during the year, like John Schmidt, Chris Bartram etc., that would be real nice!
