You yourself don't have a clue what they were debating Neil, they might have been talking about ways to handle a specific pressure situation in a US Open Final or the way to mentally prepare to play Efren for $10,000 straight up in the Phillipines. And at a point like either of those debates Joe Schmoe and his own experience getting 4th in the singles in Vegas one year has no concept of what it would be like for a World Champion who has at times in their lives been at the absolute pinnicle and who competes against people who make each error at the table equal multiple games.
Tyring to butt in on a conversasion those two are having about pool if you are anything less then a true professional (and even most pro's are not THAT level of pro) is much like a guy with a 95 IQ, 11th grade education, and who works as a gas jockey trying to butt in on a conversasion two 140+ IQ people with PHD's are having about quantum physics. You are probably NOT going to accidently rewrite the theory of relativity or disprove a Newtonian law.
And don't start thinking about Good Will Hunting, I stated the IQ for a reason, there probably is a 11th grade dropout who has some 2 bit job that actually COULD step into that discussion because he just so happens to have a 150+ IQ and unfortunately also has a personality disorder (common amoung the ridiculously smart) which masks the intelligence within.
