Actually Roy, you deserve a shout-out from all of us. You've been such a great sport throughout all of this -- competitive yes, but a sport nonetheless.
You deserve a nice pat on the back, and a couple pitchers of your favorite brew. If I were there, I'd toast you as being one of the best!
Looking forward to this next year, and for your continued (and very welcome) presence on these boards!
Perhaps I'll get to meet you at the next DCC and play you some 1-hole?

Ok, who's going to the Mosconi Cup 2010?
I am now 100 % sure that I will be there.
I've been watching almost every single shot the last 6 years on TV, and all the time I've said "Next year I'm going". Don't know where it will be held yet, though.
This year has without a doubt been the most entertaining Mosconi Cup's I've seen, it almost had it all.
How fun it would be to get a final match between Ralf Souquet and Dennis Hatch at hill-hill, but I guess we can't get everything.
USA played best the first two days, and it was about even the last two days. As I said in the other thread, Dennis Hatch showed that he knows what the Mosconi Cup is all about. It's about passion, heart, desire, determination and awesome play. It was real fun to watch him succeed, even though it hurts... Only time will tell how much this can do to Dennis' game and confidence, but I am predicting some major wins from this guy in the future.
I hope the European team will be the same players next year. I like all the players, and thought they played good. They got a bad start, it could easily have been 3-2 Europe's way after day 1, and let's not forget that it could easily have been 5-4 to USA instead of 7-2 after day 2, or 8-6 instead of 9-5 after day 3.
Some small mistakes, rolls, great shots etc. was the big difference, and the three matches that really seized the deal for Team USA was when Johnny Archer coached a nerve-wreck Deuel through a 6-5 victory, and Hatch's two big wins over Feijen in the single matches.
All those three wins came when Europe was about to close the gap and put pressure on USA.
All in all, it was a lot of fun and excitement, and it was awesome interacting with all you guys here and on facebook during the event. It made it a little more fun, but it is really hard to carry the burdens of an entire continent here on AZ...
But, next year, I'll be there for sure. Who will come with me?

I was amazed by the coaching by Johnny in that singles match yesterday
and felt the same that if it hadn't been there that match was lost. And just imagine if Corey had to play a singles match following that!?!. Anyhew, great play by all and look forward to next year!
