I don't mind the folks who support the community either. I'm just saying that clear standards should be established. And definitely policies concerning sales. If a buyer doesn't think an item was properly described, they should have the right to return, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I still have an expensive piece of crap in my cellar from some nitwit in this forum who was so freakin concerned about having a dollar to buy his next cue with that he wouldn't take back something that he misrepresented.
At the end of the day, this forum was about folks trading their own cues, not for folks trying to make extra income off of the forum. That's what ebay or your own website should be for. Having said that, its not exactly fair to expect cuemakers to answer questions, etc. and not let them sell cues.
So, establish sales/return policies and implement a policy for sellers allowed, whether by ad hoc ruling or strict standards.
