Do you realy have that cue?

OK folks i have taken some heat because i play with a Lucasi cue and even have it in my signature. Now i could easily change that to a high dollar custom cue.Which leads me to wonder how many posters really have the cues that they put in their signature? Now I'm not implying that everyone is a fibber but............................................................

i don't have any cues in my signature but i have owned every cue i've ever put in the gallery. it's actually pretty common for guys to throw down serious cash on cues

This is my daily player.......custom hand carved butt, removeable (yes, custom removable weight washers) 12mm ferrule, 14mm srew on tip....yea, its a players dream

WOWdude that is sweet! I'll trade you my PFD for it. I'll even throw in a box of coco-puffs.

I've had my avatar cue since 2004. Doesn't make me play any better but since I don't play a lick I want to make sure I look like I do. :)

Yeah. I think others have similar though not identical histories.

I bought this 1987 Paul Mottey soon after my first wife died in 1992. It was a present to myself to lift my spirits. At the time I paid the atrocious price of $600 + my Scrugs sneaky pete.

It has been my player ever since and I learned two years ago it is probably worth over two grand today.

The question is HOW LONG!!!

The cues listed in my sig and pictured in my avatar are mine, but the question you might ask yourself is for how long.

I seem to be constantly changing/selling/buying/flippin cues, so my avatar and my signature are constantly changing.

I mean, who wouldn't want to buy my "Mountain Dew" stained green Challenger cue - many offers, but it is NEVER for sale!!

You are only fooling yourself, if you are trying to portray an image that truly isn't - and that is more work than it is worth.

Played with the same Viking cue for 15 years.....if you like it, you should be proud of it....I'm guessing there are a very rare few that lie about their sig cues, everyone I have met in person from AZ has been 100% honest...

I did play with a Lucasi cue for years in fact it was my first cue but just like your first girl friend you move on and try others. I have played with some of my friends high dollar cues some that cost as much as 2 grand and higher and I all I can say about them is I am glad I did not spend my money them. You play with what you like and you like what you like for whatever reason. Right now I play with a 30 year old Paul Huebler that I purchased in a package deal with 3 other cues for 50 bucks and the hit is like nothing I have never felt before. It was an ugly duckling until I let Steve Lomax restore it for me now it not only plays fantastic it looks as fantastic as it plays so let them talk and be your own man. As a side note I ran into Buddy Hall who was trying to sell me his cue and when I showed him my Lucasi that looked just like his old one that used to play with when he was with them he knew it was no way I was going to buy his.

I own every cue I have ever used in an avitar. I try really hard to hold onto the high end box cues. The makers surely put heart and soul into building them and every time a cuemaker accepts a design request from me, I feel honored. No posing here.
What about all the avitars with smokin hot women? How many girlfriends are out there?

contrary to popular belief, i haven't boinked any of the hot women in my avatar.

I think most posters really have the cue they say they do. Occasionally, you'll have a couple of guys that like to boast, telling stories about the multitude of cues they own/owned, but they get exposed pretty quick.

BTW, one of the cues I own is a Lucasi, with a rosewood butt and radial pin. It plays really good, solid hit, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

That's mine

I play with a custom cue but believe me when I tell you that most if not all pro level players could beat me with a broom stick.
