Yes its a schon. Its not the butt ass the screw turns true. Its the shaft. As for who sent it to me. Hopefully an honest guy who made a mistake. I am just worked up wanting to get to shoot with it. Patience is not my strong suit I guess.
Looks like you got one of those "specialty shot" shafts. The bend in them makes it easier for shooting over balls.
Hey Neil,
Have you been to Tennessee in the summer? That is probably the straightest cue in the entire state!
Chris
nice roll, looks like the butt may be warped from the way it wobbled !!!

After your suggestion I could not find anything I knew was perfectly straight so I took it to the local builder and ask him what what was wrong with the cue. He rolled it and said the butt looks warped , then took the shaft off and said the shaft is straight. Then he rolled the butt and showed me the joint end. The last 3-4 inches is warped. While it seems so small a gap it looks bad by the time end goes through to the tip of the shaft. He also said a piece of glass makes a good surface to check straightness.Thing to do is place the shaft and butt separately on a flat counter at eye level, and rotate each slowly. Look for any change in the gap between the counter and the shaft or handle, any lifting or dropping of the joint or forearm.
My suggestion is keep a cool head and work with the seller.
Chris
You were right
I was Wrong. Turns out the way I tested the screw did not test the butt as well.

So now I am really lost on what to do.
Demand a refund.
I think he won it in a raffle and has 32 dollars into it
If he did win it in a raffle, then shouldn't the raffler refund everyones money?
Chris
