Most of the time, when I am having trouble playing pool, whether it is pocketing ball, playing shape, breaking or jumping balls, all I have to do is to look in the mirror to find the problem.
I try not to dog anyone's product and I think I am fair about what I observe and of course, it is only my opinion and others might have different results.
I am a slow learner but I have learned that the Predator Air, while it is a good jump cue for cue balls that weigh approximately the same as a red circle cue ball, they are not designed to jump heavy bar table cue balls. Not only did I fail to hit the object ball but I also failed to jump over the impeding object ball on more than one occasion. I wasn't tired and I was using my fairly consistent technique but the heavier cue ball just gave me fits in this past tournament.
I think I will be looking at other break cues for jumping the heavy cue ball in the future.
