YES ALL MY CUES ARE 100% MADE BY ME FROM 100% BLOCKS OF EXOTIC AND DOMESTIC WOOD STOCK !!!

If I was a "kit" assembler and/or a conversionist then I would NOT be discussing and advertising custom fitted cues built exactly to your specifications and therefor could NOT consider myself a cuemaker !

And since all of you have viewed pics of some of my cues in this thread, it's pretty obvious you aren't going to find those particular designs in a "kit" or partial assembled butts for sale....

So I get the impression that you are just goofing off and are trying to get a rise out of me and are meaning NO harm....

If that be the case... "you got me !":o

Take care, Eddie Wheat:)

Something to consider.

I am NOT siding or trying to start anykind of controversy or arguement here at all, but I do work with this very talented guy on the "poison tour" AKA: "KF-Cue tour" and I just wanted to state that regardless of whatever mistakes or bad business decisions he's made that caused him to be banned from AZB does NOT in anyway discredit his ability to repair every aspect of a pool cue as great as any vetran cuemaker to date, his talent and resources are impressive and I really hope he get's organized and corrects whatever mistakes he's made, in my honest opinion from what he has told me is that he bit off a little more than he could chew and handled the overwhelming response to his sales pitches very poorly and is embarrassed with himself.

I have seen his work firsthand and it's top-notched and don't be fooled, his cuemaking is very well put together and the custom-fitting thing he does is well thought out too. he's hell-bent on quality work but doesn't want to get caught up in the art side of it as he puts it.
Eddie has taught me quite a bit about extensive cue repairs and is very passionate about his work, he's very generous with is knowledge and I feel I have learned a great deal in this past year alone from what I thought I knew prior to double teaming the tour events with him.
Once again, I do NOT support his short-commings or bad business ethics, but I trust him very much and he's always been very honest with me and I felt I owed him a little support with his gifted cue-repair and cuemaking talent that he has dedicated his life to.

I would appreciate if this doesn't turn into a big deal or I get punished for simply given an honest statement, I just wanted to shed a little light on my personal interaction with Eddie considering that I know eventually all of you will become aware that we are part of the Tony Crosby's tour as well as the Dan Dennis's "Pro Gambler tour" too with great success and I didn't want you to discredit me for being connected with his past behaivor of this great forum.

THANKS !

Super bump! All the way from july 1 2008! Not at all sure why eddie has any greenies at all. Hmmm

Hi chipperd,

I don't mind you giving your honest opinion about Eddie.
What I do mind is that Eddie has had two of my shafts and several hundred
dollars of my money for two years. He was supposed to make me a purpleheart
butt to go along with a purpleheart break shaft I sent to him,
and a maple 15' butt for an ash X-Jumper shaft I also sent to him.

Maybe you could relay the message that I am still waiting for them,
Eddie has stopped communicating for more then a year now.

gr. Dave

Who Cares.....?

I think when Mr. Wilson wakes up, This thread will be yanked anyway...I think Mr Wheat is somewhere in the middle of a lifetime ban.

Personally I don't think rings made from a sharpie marker are "top notch quality". I also find his "doesn't want to get caught up in the art side of it" as a classic statement coming from him. LOL, I guess that is his justification for sharpie ring work.

For the record, there is a guy on here called "Blackjack" that considered himself a friend of Eddie's. He believed what Eddie told him and stood behind Eddie & his word on here. Ask him what he thinks of Eddie and his word now.

Others of us tried to give Eddy the benefit of the doubt and thought he was just a bit of a knucklehead. We were wrong and I think you will learn for yourself over time that you are too.

Sincerely wishing you luck,

Chipperd... Eddie Wheat is nothing but a low life thief. He has Ripped off many people including me and others on this forum... It was NO MISTAKE!!!... It was by design with no intention of producing a cue or refunding any money.

Chippered, this sounds like just another bit in a long line of cons....you'll learn in time, especially if he's "teaching" you.
:p

I do not wish to get in the middle of his customer affairs becasue it's none of my business, please do not direct any of the problems you are having with him to me, I simply gave him a compliment on his talent and are not condoning his past behaivor on AZB period.

I enjoy being a part of this forum and do not wish to be perscecuted or become a messenger just because I know him and work with him regularly on the tour(s)

This wasn't supposed to turn into a discussion or end up in a nasty downward spiral becasue something nice was said about him, I do know he stays busy building cues becasue we bring his lathe to the tour stops as well as mine so I see partially completed cues and several repair jobs everytime I go get him and help load up his equipment for the events, but that is as far as my envolvement goes with HIS business.

I appreciate all of you respecting my wishes and not involving me with any problems you have had with Eddie, he works for me on the tour, "On The Snap Cue Repair" is my baby and Eddie knows there is no wait on repairs, they are done immediately regardless and he gets it done with professional results.

Thanks again and I will end my involvement with this thread.

I was never one of his customers and I'm not persecuting you for your alliance with Eddie. You complimented his "talent" and I simply pointed out that drawing ring work with a sharpie marker is not what I would call "talent".

For your sake I hope I'm wrong, but I'm guessing you might be better off ending your involvement with Eddie more so than this thread. Good luck.
