Four Barry Szamboti cues

Here are four absolutely incredible cues built by no other than Barry Szamboti. I can't really think of anything I could say that would properly match the cues so I will let them speak for themselves - and maybe you can find the suiting words. I know I can't :)

The cues belong to Fatboy where they have the best home :)

Enjoy.

Hey Alton,

After I have looked back at my entire life I still can't figure it out who told me what... Would you please tell me what you are referring to?

LOL I get it now, sorry it's too late here. That is a good thread by Scott, I like the points he made.

Unfortunately these pictures were taken a while before those principles have been made :)

I can assure you though that such excessive care was taken that is beyond imagination and the cues are as sound as any on this planet. These are solid cues, love a tiny bit of sunshine and won't get hurt by an environment a bit rougher than an 860 Simonis.
Thanks for the heads-up though, if I was good at photoshop I'd put them virtually into a museum to keep everyone away from cringing :)

Thanks for sharing

These are fantastic. Everyone is unique in its own right and all scream Szamboti.

Love the Tribute to Dad... probably my favorite of the bunch. It shows how a Legend created the foundation of a Legacy. Now it is easy for all the nay sayers to understand that "The Tradition Continues" through the hands of Barry.

Thank you for posting.

Eric dust off those Gus cues you have in the back of your closet and get pics up of the Father and Son together :)

Strong.......how can anyone not absolutely love Barry's cues.

I agree 100%. These cues are magnificent. Hopefully someday I can add a Barry Szamboti cue to my little collection.

Thank you very much for sharing,
Chris

For me, the tribute cue is the greatest ever constructed. Schick's Birds of Prey, Stroud's Pink ivory masterpiece, Ernie's Ed Kelly box cue all captivate me to the point of awe. They are all superlatives. The tribute cue, for me, stands alone because of the special nature of its theme.

I was wondering where the Tribute Cue was....sexiest cue ever (next to the Searing Twins)

Gian,

Very good point! To me the tribute looks like the eldest brother of the bunch... maybe it sounds silly but still, it's the greatest of them all...
The choice of theme is obvious but the way it is executed, how the barbells, windows and other inlays create one whole look tells you something about where these cues are coming from.

It was my pleasure to share the pictures and it's nice to see that you like them so much. This is a 'bunch' that scarcely surfaces...

Subjecting those cues to potential disaster on the concrete......

Why I oughta........

Scott ;)

Ok sometime when they are laying out for a tan

These cues are each stellar, but as a group they take on yet additional importance, the sum is greater than the parts......... Kinda like I felt when I saw Marsman`s fabulous collection all together!

Thanks for sharing these box cues, they sure provide a picture not to be forgotten! The Tribute cue is SPECIAL.....

Take care,

Will Prout

Sure doesn’t seem like 15 years….wow! 5-7 maybe but not 15.

I forgot this pic was here. I hope I didn’t leave the cues outside all this time……

Best case scenario would be that white snakeskin wrap fell off. ;)

Pretty amazing other than that wrap though!
