The way it really went down

I read the entire thread.

Conflicting stories about a deal gone sour. Maybe he paid maybe he didn't. Regardless of what really happened you engaged (also others) in illegal activity and have chosen to whine about the outcome publicly. You posted to provide information with the intent to garner support from the AZ troops. You wanted to right the alleged wrong?! Yes/No. You want support to collect an illegal debt.

I hardly think these kinds of threads serve to represent and promote the game. These threads command or demand justice and respect? You think this gambling is the stuff legends are made of? We should all really care right, because the stakes are high? Or higher than most here would ever consider.

This thread does nothing for the sport and last I checked this wasn't a gambling forum.

Its of my opinion, yeah its an opinion, that real men and real gambling should be done privately not publicly. I'd liken this to a guy whose goes to the papers and cries about not getting his cut of the bank robbery. Boohoo.

The selling of the auto is a civil matter and should be addressed in court. I really don't have anything for that. Not really billiard related anyway.

I guess I just figured I could air it out as well. Right along side your dirty laundry. Why not?

The last time I checked it was legal to gamble in Las Vegas 1 on 1 in a match of skill, and this is not a cry for support as you say it is.To me this is about stopping this guy to do to others what he did to Scott, which he is still trying to do. And your analogy in relating to a bank robbery is as ludicrous as your stuff shirt demeanour on this issue. Try to have a nice day.:sorry:

Dippy "only" had 125K and a Rolex with him, not 150K.

You sure you read the whole thread? ;)

That was my point. He'd already lost and paid $100K. He was known as "good action" and as someone who paid their debts. Everyone is knocking Billy for not making him put up for the 3rd set. BS ! You'd have to mad at money to not take his word that he'd pay later if he loses!

Do you knockers think Archie and Steve were putting their cash on the light when they played, leading to Archie winning over 40 million?? If you want a chance to make a big score, you have to be ready to make some reasonable concessions.

Probably not as unpopular as you'd think.

I'm not sickened. I just find it ironic that a guys is crying for justice for his illegal endeavors....

Bishop, I notice you have quite a few posts on the NPR section of this forum. They have some great debates there about a wide range of non-pool-related topics, but to label a challenge match as an "illegal endeavor" is kind of odd on a pool forum! :grin-square:

Used to be that what really made the art of gambling special was the fact that it was kept private...you know, between gentlemen. Now its all about glossing yourself as a big baller.

I was supporting the "agree to disagree" sentiment until you absolutely killed your credibility with this ridiculous statement. At what point in this thread has anyone tried to make themselves out to be a "big baller"? You're wayyyyyy out in left field on this one.

Also, you're suggesting that gambling is a gentlemanly art if kept secret, but a criminal and shameful act when made public? ....seriously?

i haven't read the whole thread, but i find it entertaining. it goes a lot quicker if i skip all of jam's post.

If you put me on ignore feature, that might help! :)

I'm thinking about removing the avatar function, so I don't have to look at yours!

I just want to know if the new AZ forum fad of saying "Ship it!" will be amended to "Stiff it!"

Ill lay 2-1 on a integertity test between me and scott, ill post as much as anted.

All my peers know me, and i have nothing to prove to anyone that thinks people like scott are roll models or good for your sport.

IM not paying scott because i dont owe him. If i left the pool room oweing money i paid everyone, Ask anyone besides scott to say different. He is a degenerate craps player a cronic liar, and a drunk.

Jay you speak to me and offer me aadvice like we are friends or you know me, have we ever met? Have you ever done any type of transactions with me?

Has anyone here seen or heard of me do any thing but pay when i lose? And usually i laugh and pay,

so billy and lenny believe scott,

why wouldnt they want to believe him,

now eveyone believes billy and lenny, hmmmmm why not makes better drama,

good luck all.

Anyways, billy lenny scott Jack,

your team is only as strong as your weakest link, maybe you need to rethink things,

And yes billy offered for me to pay 20k and this would all go away, i said no.
basically i turned down paying 20k cause its a matter of principle,

then i was told just give scott 10k cause he needs it, im not doing that either.

i wont pay one red cent!!!!!!!!!

No, we're not friends and probably never will be friends. We are barely acquaintances for that matter. I met you when you were playing Shane. Big Bobby introduced me to you. You just don't remember. Bobby told you I was someone important in pool, putting on big events and such. That's okay if you don't remember me, and it's okay if you don't take my advice. It's no skin off me.

This situation with Scott has already gotten ugly. I was offering advice in the hope that it didn't get any uglier. But you don't seem to care about that or any possible consequences for your actions. All I can say now is good luck to you.

Bishops don't tend to come at you head-on.
The are wont to attack diagonally.

You're not only sensitive, but you're a smart cookie and can read between the lines!

Have they figured out who owns the car?

Did Scott pay 10k or not? Was those 10k considered rent for a couple of weeks only?

your funny, yea not like a clown

I really love your dry sense of humor. In answer to your question about the car- well I don't have an answer, maybe the $10,000 was for only 4 weeks rental fee. Is there a luxory tax included in there somewhere? Any old way keep posting.

ILLEGAL, ILLEGAL. Man you are sickening

Back in the day before I made everyone post I was sickened by guys behaving badly during gambling sessions and pulling moves and guys stiffing me.

This thread is tragic but part of me is glad that the pool world is seeing that you can lose action and money if you pull moves and also if you stiff someone you might feel the pain.
