I have heard dippy on 2plus2 saying he used to make a living playing pool but then had some health issues that have greatly effected his game in a negative way. I know he used to play alot better i was just wondering how well he used to play. Is there anyone who saw him play pre-medical problems and if so what speed did he play at? Just curious.

i've seen a few posts in all the threads and i think someone said about a strong b speed. it's hard to remember because there have been so many threads and posts, but i am pretty sure that is what someone estimated his old speed at. you can always ask chris bartram, he seems to have known d.d. for a while.

so ill tell them what i know.

we all know now he plays real bad.

Hey Chris, did you two lock horns recently? Seems you were going to try.

What's the one pocket spot up to: 87-2? ;)

The 9 ball spot: breaks, BIH and the 2 and out, and 17 on the wire racing to 21? ;)

True Dat !

A good hustler is also a good handicapper & knows his own limitations & matches up accordingly...Sounds like Dave got the games right on paper based on his past level of play...whatever level that use to be...the worst pool player in the world can be the best hustler for the cash if they only match up within their own limitations

and there ya have it. that's about the best description i've ever heard of a true "hustler". no really knows how good they are but they sure do seem to win.

No, the games he played recently would be a joke if he played like he used to. But those days are long gone now.

Interesting...before and after brain trama...

that's all. At least it's not another thread on "You shoulda seen him in his prime" or "blank, blank is the best of all time" or "if yada yada had his arms, blankity blanks legs, you know who's brain..."
