I never get tired of seeing these two monster wrapless Tascarella's. Sometimes when I am having a less than perfect day at work I will just pull up an old post with these cues in it to brighten my day a little:grin::o:o

As usual thanks again for sharing these two beauties Berny.

I love all the cues i have seen here , The funny thing is as a dealer it's hard to keep a cue for a long time when someone wants to pay what ever price you ask, I have a cue now that i can't sale it just plays great .I do have a small amount of cues but my plain Murrell is the nuts,

i love to see what peolpe are playing with why they won't sale that one cue that they love.

I hit with this Bill Schick among a group of cues Ken Carfagno was offering for sale. It was fantastic. I saved 2 years and bought it.

Gian, I have nearly bought this cue from Kenny, if I did not have so many things going on and interrupting all the time, I would have pulled the trigger - one of my favourite Schick designs, I am glad it is yours (again:) ) Kenny really is a great person too!!
I hope it stays with you for a long time now :)

Of all the cues I have ever owned, or currently owned, my favorite cue is my Schick cue.

Im not saying I wouldnt sell it, but it would have to be the most amazing deal of all time.

True story about my Schick, and I told this story at Jamies show in Dayton last year. I traded a DALE PERRY cue (plus cash and others) to get the Schick cue. The time it took to get the the deal completed took about 6 months literally.

I remember that deal, I like the Schick as well.

Here are two more cue's worth a mention. The all ebony cue is another Rick Howard and used to be his personal playing cue. Several years ago at the DCC I talked him into selling it to me and played with it for a while afterwards. I ended up trading it to a friend of his the next year and it then was sold or traded to a few others in multiple states. I always thought about trying to get it back and it actually came for sale on here once but I missed it. The next time it came up I was able to get it back and it plays so similar to my daily player that it's well worth keeping. I got it from Rick then traded it to his buddy in Florida then it moved a couple times and I finally ended up getting it back from another AZ member out in Utah.

The other cue is a Tunder and for someone who didnt make a ton of cue's, this one play's great. I first saw it in a booth at the DCC several years ago and it had a note that said it was Dave Matlock's cue but I didn't want to spend the $$ they were asking for it at the time. When it came for sale on here at a decent price, I could not pass it up. It had a terrible wrap on it and could use a refinish but it turned out to be well worth it.

Has anyone else noticed that the "keepers" that everyone is posting appear to be pretty plain looking cues?

Ken

i guess my post may leave me out of "everyone".......:).....good observation though.....i would have no reason to nor would want to sell my player Keith made for me.......kinda puts things in perspective.....nice observation....

My Mike Cochran. Not a closet queen but my playing cue. I think the simple cues are hard to beat. They dont attract attention and just looks more solid IMO.

Here is mine..........

Granted it's just a Merry Widow, but right now, I don't ever see it going anywhere! :)
