Tommy, My wife was diagnosed with MS back in '77. MS changes your life, but it doesn't end it.
There are support groups...if you don't fit in the first one you join, try another...eventually you'll find the right fit.
(edit) Believe me...these people can help..just by sharing knowledge about the various treatments, which neurologists to choose, etc.
Oh, and BEWARE of quackery...because MS has remissions, there are many people claiming to have "the cure". Your pool background should help you spot the hustlers, right?
