Tommy, My wife was diagnosed with MS back in '77. MS changes your life, but it doesn't end it.

There are support groups...if you don't fit in the first one you join, try another...eventually you'll find the right fit.

(edit) Believe me...these people can help..just by sharing knowledge about the various treatments, which neurologists to choose, etc.

Oh, and BEWARE of quackery...because MS has remissions, there are many people claiming to have "the cure". Your pool background should help you spot the hustlers, right? ;)

Wow. I just saw this. I haven't been posting too much here lately, or been in the shop at all for that matter. Been too busy at work. I hope you are able to do some type of physical rehab for your body.
 
Sorry to hear of your health issues. Hope you can find respite in our replies and well wishes, and that you return to what you enjoy doing quickly.
 
Thank you all for your replies. This kinda stuff is what makes az and its users so special. Tommy said that all the well wishes have cheered him up so much. He's got a long road ahead and anything we can do to make that a lil easier is a wonderful thing. Thanks everyone..

Man, sorry to hear of your diagnosis! No wonder you hurt so much!
Now just concern yourself with getting as much of your health back as your body allows.

I know you will enjoy retirement! All that stress will soon be g-o-n-e! :smile:

My diagnosis came kinda late, so starting pretty soon, I'm gonna be bombarded with some super sh.t that hopefully will slow up the process of this desease.

I'll keep you all posted, should be interesting, after all, I feel your all my family :)

Glad to hear your out of the hospital. Dont forget im local so if you need something you have my number in your pm's.
 
Wishing you all the best Tommy! My suggestion is to play pool every day. It may be the best possible therapy for you. Some yoga also would probably be good for you.
