Here is super hitting cue I just finished for a good customer of mine. This is some really old rosewood with a purpleheart handle...two of the absolute finest hittings woods. This combo makes for a hit quality thats incredible. He wanted just a great playing plain jane & even requested my satin finish. A real sleeper here with stellar performance.:)

That is probably one of the greatest sleepers of all time. "Most incredible" is such an obscene understatement.

Nice combo and I bet it does hit great too. Is the satin finish hand rubbed?
Is the forearm cored? I have a couple of pieces of Brazilian that I got from Keeb and a ton of PH (cause its my fav wood) so I might try to copy that one in time Kevin. In fact, I was lucky and got 6 pieces of curly PH that might do the trick nicely.

Yes the satin is hand rubbed...and no its not cored. Rosewood is one of the very best woods for pure "hit" quality so no coring needed. Hope you are doing well my friend...thank you again for my last package...lots of interesting info no doubt.:)

Got the cue in the mail the other day . . . looks even better than the pictures show. Oh, and it plays pretty damn good too. Thanks Kevin!
