Gosh.
People get to price their stuff at the price they want to sell their stuff for. My guess would be that Monte has priced the table at a price he'd rather keep it at if he can't achieve it. I really think that's Monte's right. Myself, I auction stuff off and generally achieve what price an item will go for in those conditions in a week. I would never take it upon myself to tell another seller that he has to price his stuff that way, or price it at a price it will sell for in a month, or two months. Its not my business.
I thought we had a forum understanding about pricing. Think a guy is asking too much? Offer him less in a PM and if you can't get together move on to something you feel is priced right. I think its considered rude and bad form to comment on another members pricing regardless of how much of an expert one considers himself. Has this changed?
As far as the pricing of this table. What's a new Gold Crown cost? I think Monte might be looking to find a buyer, that's sees, like he does, the value in a completely playable old classic. Guys are willing to pay WAY more of a nice 1957 T-Bird than they would for a brand new one, even though the brand new car would outperform the old one in every way (other than looks). The advantage to this table over the car in this example is the table plays every bit as good as the new Gold Crown, maybe better.
Thanks
Kevin
PS Give me that Strat and lets set a new eBay world record.
I guess you missed the understanding of my post
