Short notice match between The Lion and The Dippinator. Race to 13. Dippy gets 18-4. $20K per man.

I'll be setting up and doing a PPV of the set on Thursday. Two camera's and I'll do my best on the commentary. There is one reason to pay $20 to watch this and that is to see Alex run balls. I watched these guys play this game last time they hooked up and on more than one occasion I was sitting there laughing and smiling like a kid watching Alex run 14's and 15's. It's amazing.

Also you will get to see how brutal this game is for a champion. Dippy knows how to move and the last time they played this game he beat Alex pretty good. Alex is pumped to give it another shot so they are back in action this Thursday. Start time is 6 PM Eastern 3 PM Pacific.

Match is being played at Pool Sharks in Vegas.

I see no mention of a free scratch for Dippy, so it appears there's been an adjustment in weight. That will come into play sooner or later.

Hats off to Alex. Giving sooo much weight can make some feel like instead of "playing" pool, you're working. And when it feels like you're working, you tend to not play as well.

Let the windows open...


BTW, if they decide to go another set, will TAR continue streaming?

Dippy already he is only playing the one set on Thursday. If they go again the next day we will probably go again as well.

Awesome, Alex is probably my favorite player to watch. I've never seen more heart from a player. I'm not on the good action list but I'll post a small sweat bet on Alex for this if anyone is interested.

thanks Justin for getting in on this on such short notice. For those of us that don't live in Vegas, instead live in a god awful, desolate, nut shriveling cold area of the county, this is the 1st time I'll get to watch this kind of weight being given by the top pros against Vipster. Aside from a quick few minutes of a smartphone video, that is.:smile:

It'll also come in handy with helping on your Derby trip.:smile:

People, you got to see this one, it's not often you will ever get to see this kind of matchup.
 
Last time Alex and Dippy played this game, Alex ran 18 and out! I wasn't there to see it, but would had love to.

Maybe he will do it again :)

Last of Alex I saw was at the US open. He wasnt happy
With his play there.
Pretty solid of TAR to stream this and hopefully put on DVD.
Props to both players for stepping out.
