Wow, you have a much tougher standard than I do.

In your opinion what does it take for a pool player to be somebody?

I see a few names on this list I consider somebody…

I also remember hearing the tell of a certain Pearl running in excess of 400 once upon a time, way back in the way back.
It was long enough ago he probably forgot the rules anyway.

Shane in the race to 100 it is uncany how much the rolls went Shane's way (he played awesome too) but Mika was always hooked when he came to the table because of Shane's good rolls.

You must be a mika fan, because shane did not get the rolls in that match, if anything he overcame the early rolls that mika was getting.
 
I am looking for a 10 foot pool table, Gold Crown would be nice. Anyone out there with some leads?

Mike, did you guys really set up a deal that a 5x10 was part of it without even having the equipment to play on in advance?? tell me thats not the case here.

Can we give him the benifit of the doubt and assume that he was givin wrong information about the fact that diamond ( or anyone really ) actuall makes the table. If this is true he assumed he'd make one or two call and have it delivered
 
If anyone who is a member of AZ and is not a recognized professional player or "champion" would like to play Earl's backer, Mike Gulyassy, some then I will be happy to empty out and bet on Mike.

I say this because many are questioning Mike's position here. Mike is himself a world class speed player who went into cue making instead. None of the iggies proffering opinions have a ghost of a chance to beat him.

Earl is however hard to bet ON because he is liable to melt down. NOT because he is weaker than Shane as a player. IF the set were being played between someone like Buddy (if Buddy were healthy) then no one would step up and offer crazy odds.

Earl is a 20 game underdog just because of his attitude and pysche. Otherwise he plays as strong as any living player without a doubt.

IMO ignorant opinion of course.

I'm just looking for a 10 foot gold crown for me. Earl and Shane will not be playing on a Gold Crown.

Why don't they just play on a regulation 12' snooker table with standard 2 1/4" pool balls ?

I am with you when it comes to playing Earl. How about playing Johnny Archer on Johnny's Gold Crown in Johnny's room?

I am not sure but I think it's been tossed around that Johnny has offered this game.

Is there a little tremor there maybe as to why it's not gone off?
 
This should be great and a real treat. Geeez I hope it's streamed. It don't matter who wins to me, players going head to head like this is great for pool. I never had a chance to play on a 5 X 10 table and should be fun to watch.

I think Earl would play johnny 10 ball with the no luck rules that he is supposed to play SVB with. I like Earl playing JA.

I offered Johnny to play one set on his table and another on a table that Shane chooses and he declined. I offered him money odds if he played at Shanes choice of table and he declined.

I offered to stake Shane at Derby and he declined.

If there are any tremors I would guess it is with JA and not with Shane.

Oh and BTW Shane would play Johnny on his home table in a minute, I am just not willing to let everything go one players way unless we are stealing. That is why we are willing to play on a 10' table with a 6" break box to win free money.

You like Earl playing everyone, every game, on every table. You're supposed to though, he's your horse.
