Lord help us all if JoeyA wins the Cajun Classic.

He got third........

Good Luck Joey!

Mr Joey A got third but really put up a good showing.

He lost to Robb Saez 7-3 for third place. My horse is out so I'm just going to predict that Robb will beat Kenny twice in the final but you never know what will happen.

Kenny is capable of playing some pretty good pool.

Great Job joey.

JoeyA - Congrats on a great showing!

You really are an inspiration to a lot of us here on AZ.

Keep the posts and the wins coming.

Great job, JoeyA.....

You made a great showing at the tournament. I was pulling for you to win it all! Oh, I forgot I can't say anything good anybody on here!
Regards,
Lock N Load.

Congrats Joey-

You lost the race but won (the war and hearts of the azb community. Losing to Robb is nothing to hang your head about. Robbs had his ups and downs over the yrs in Pool. With Rod its all about the cash!!! I think he's still using a replacement cue made by Andy Gilbert. (Hey Geno- hope all is well with you-mark mark

I think the Gingerbread Man is running a little faster now.
Nice shooting Joy Boy!

Watched you taking it to Rob Saez in your first match with him earler yesterday and was really impressed.

Nice going, including a brilliant kick on a three ball into the side and a long-jacked-up two rail kick that led directly to your hill-hill victory.

I saw something very similar happen to you in another big tourney where you beat Cliff Joyner and went real deep in that one, I think top 4. It's like fuel to beat one of these top dogs - boosts confidence and they all start getting nervous over this giant-killer.

Consider your action, officially knocked! :p

Best,
Brian kc

AZB can rest easy. I didn't win the Cajun Classic.:smile:

I take it you doing good then...after seeing one of my investments losing 7-0 to cliff...we left early....gonna swing by see if other 2...Robb & Benny are still in..hadn't talked to anyone to check...See you ova der:cool:
Good seeing you in the booth, Troy. You may have a new career ahead of you.

The word is out now. Everyone wants some weight except me! I will be happy if you are the Winner!!!! Mr. JoeyA,,,,, Cajun Classic Winner!!!! I missed the if in your thread, JoeyA. I am not myself right now!
I hope you win!
Lock,
Thanks for sweating the Cajun Classic at Buffalo Billiards. Hope it was fun to watch in this time of sorrow. I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. I know you will miss him but you have many extended family members who care about you.

Hot off the press........... joey just called me to let us know our horse is dtill on the run in the Cajun Classic.

I talked to Joey in the past few days and he's done alot of good things to prepare for this tourny.

One of the most important was he had some pretty good bar table action for a few days before the tourny. I always liked this myself. To be under the fire a little. And have a few shots here nad there that really make the difference in winning and losing.

It don't get any better than this. Streaming of the Cajun Classic by Big truck with Joey takin it to'em and the Green Bay Packers Vs Carolina............

He Might GO ALL THE WWWWAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !

Gene,
I want to thank you for the phone lesson as well as the priceless information you gave me during and just prior to the tournament. Anyone who says your information is false is a GOOF. I played my best pool ever and a major part of it was the information you shared with me. Get well and come out swinging. I would love to learn more from you to improve my game further and I know that you know things that many of us don't. Hope to see you in the future and learn more about PERFECT AIM.

Da horse needs hay and water. You better get there.
Lol. I was eating and drinking a little better at this tournament. :D

Good Luck Joey!
Thanks Rufus!

Take it all JoeyA
 I tried.

JoeyA - Congrats on a great showing!

Thank you for the kind words. ANYONE CAN IMPROVE THEIR GAME. It takes a desire to improve yourself not just by acquiring knowledge but time on the table and discipline/persistence.

Good showing JoeyA.
Thanks JMuck!

Thank you Hollywood. It is true that when I play I think about all of the people who visit this forum and that I want to express to them through my game, that anyone can compete. There is no shame in losing. Success is temporary if you are only counting the win. Success is defined by making gradual improvements in your overall game. Anyone can improve their game and I urge everyone to attend and play in tournaments to test yourself and have the time of your life.

Great job Joey.
Yer still in the cash.
The cash was nice but it was the journey that gives me the greatest satisfaction and that's not just words. It's the truth.

Joey A. congrats on the great finish. Awesome job.

Jay P.
Thanks Jay. I had some incredibly good rolls, a good draw, and a couple of matches that I played good and a couple where my opponents just never played up to their potential.

I think the Gingerbread Man is running a little faster now.
Nice shooting Joy Boy!
Thanks GingerBread Man. I'll catch up with you one day. ;)

Nice finish, Joey!

Brian,
You bring up my best shot of the entire tournament. That two rail kick was all Joe Villalpondo who has the pool instructional videos at www.pooliq.net. I regularly practice this two rail kick and I knew I could get close to hitting the five ball but I actually thought it was my ONLY chance of winning the match and planned on pocketing it. I kept measuring the two rail kick over and over counting the diamonds. Adjusting for the position of the five ball. I kept thinking that their must be a better way to shoot this shot and I thought of all of the options and finally settled on Joe V's two rail kick system and I went all in. It was my best shot of the tournament. I had plenty of bad shots during the tournament but this one made up for all of those. Unfortunately for Robb, the table rolled off a little and when he made the right decision to shoot the five ball with speed, he jarred the pocket and I was able to finish the game. Thanks for noticing that particular shot.

And that is what matters to me. And you were there and made a great showing. For yourself and your home Pool Hall, Buffalo's Billiards, The World's Pool Hall...... Thanks again for the condolences, I needed them!

Everyone should play in pool tournaments and the higher the level of competition the better. A butt-whipping isn't going to kill you.
