Too many people are saying forgive him.....
Is Charlie good for pool or is he just trying to make a living for himself.
To many of us, he is in it for the money he can make from pool.

Someone insinuated he is a sexual offender but didn’t get convicted.
Charlie is Dragon Promotions and is on the board of ABP, this smells.
So the question is asked how many accusations are acceptable before you don’t forgive?
How many times does a guy have to smell before you say enough is enough?
I am a Catholic, so do we forgive the Devil, even though he continues to be bad?

I had no idea that he was accused of that. I don't know marisa or charlie to be able to say he should be charged with such a horrible act. I'm not defending his actions....just want to know more of the facts to be a better judge.
So far, all I gather is this girl, Marissa, left her door unlocked, Charlie walts over and gets naked, hops in her bed....without her knowing....and reads her a bedtime story...blah blah and she wakes up screaming. Charlie runs. Also Charlie claims to have pictures of another girls boobies?

No, you don't have the whole story....
She worked for Charlie at the time and was staying in a room supplied by Dragon Promotions, it was her room, not a community room. She had her door locked but obviously Charlie got a card for her room. So, no, there weren't any witnesses.... But Marissa has been around here forever and is known to be a good solid person, as many here that know her personally will attest to.
Check Charlies stats, then check Marissa's... No contest.
Thanks. I see how that can be a pretty bad situation for him to defend against...especially if she is known to be an upfront and honest person. But what about ransoming someones boobie pictures? isn't that somewhat outlandish?
The girl that was supposedly in those pics is a stand up person as well. And the pics never existed, bottom line is Charlie is a POS

I went fishing for why CW's affiliation with ABP/DP hasn't left a good taste in the mouths of some..
And what was that tournament he got somebody booted from before having two ABP players split the finals without playing?
Lacking integrity can be a mofo when you want to be respected, much less wanting to be in charge of who's who.
This is some of what he's pulled off so far, with a seriously limited reach. If you think that putting all of your eggs in his basket is a good idea, well..

Just in case one day, Matchroom Sports takes a gamble on JoeyA and/or Jay Helfert as USA Captain/Co-Captain, I should really keep this one secret.
I KNOW it will help their game and I haven't told Jay what "the secret" is either, so don't go pumping him for information that he doesn't have.
(Jay probably has a couple of SECRETS of his own that will help the USA Mosconi Cup Team WIN!)
If JoeyA and Jay get put in charge we all know what will happen - they'll be playing either one pocket or banks at the Mosconi Cup...

But seriously, Jay and I would make a hell of a team as Co-captains of the Mosconi Cup Team for many different reasons. I think Jay and I have experience in many different areas to help motivate and guide America's Mosconi Cup Team to victory.
While many of you don't know Jay or I personally, I think I can speak for Jay as well as myself and believe that we are pretty much selfless when it comes to promoting pool. Between the two of us, we could help to meet the needs of a U.S. Mosconi Cup Team as well or better than any other candidate for the job. I don't mean to be braggadocious but both Jay and I possess certain skill sets and experience that would be conducive to bringing out the best in a Mosconi Cup Team.
Specifically, what we would do to help the U.S. Mosconi Cup Team succeed is a matter of privacy, at least for the moment; until we get the call. :wink:

We don't need someone as captain of the Mosconi Cup Team that
brings all this extra baggage along for the trip.
We need a new captain for our Mosconi Cup Team.
Somebody like Tony Robles comes to mind, great player,
former Mosconi Cup Player, lots of integrity, honest,
trust worthy, respected by fans and players alike, absolutely
professional in demeanor, great ambassador for the game
of pool, deals above board with people, someone that comes
at people from the heart and loves this game we all love.
Not to mention runs his own tour, plays, and teaches and is a
hard worker, being it working on his game or tour or whatever
he is involved in.
To sum this all up, Tony is someone that not only knows how to win,
and look good doing it, but if it's not in the cards that day he also,
comports himself well in the event of a loss.
It's my opinion that these are traits we need and should look for, be
it the Mosconi Cup Captain, or the head of a Professional Players Ass.
We need someone who deals out in the light and comes from the right
place (the heart).

As long as somebody like Charlie is involved in the direction of pool, people should be reminded of his actions. At every turn, he's trying to usurp a person, entity or doing something else underhanded. Let sleeping dogs lie.. well, he woke up again.
If he's going to come on here and do his self-promoting, pedalling misleading information to help kill competing tournaments and then attempt to knock aside BCA's work, I'm going to remind people of why he shouldn't be trusted. I don't expect it to be liked, I just expect it to be remembered.
What did Chucky do that needs our forgivness?
I will list his crimes that I know of.
1) wearing that loud yellow shirt at the 10B tourney (Tunica?)
2) is captain of the Mosconi Cup Team.
3) is afiliated with some pool orginization called the ABP or some such.
I can fade 2-3 but #1 can never be forgivin.

I happen to think that you would have made a good captain for the US Mosconi Cup team. But I now have reservations when you went for the Aguzin/Helfert joint ticket.
The job needs one strong individual to take it on and command the respect of a what is a pretty irreverent bunch of players.
Both yourself and Jay would probably handle the job rather well. But Jay has the jump on you because he is already over there working for Sky Sports as the commentator.
Tony Robles is the flavor of the week but his Mr Nice Guy persona is not what the team needs.
The US team should be something like Shane VB, Mike Dechaine, Brandon Shuff, Hunter Lombardo and John Morra (he is a North American) and Johnny Archer as non playing captain. They may not win first time out given the cauldron that is York Hall. But they would be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
