Sorry I had to do it this way but now that I have your attention:

We have edited the rules to include sales that are from an outside source, meaning eBay or other auction / raffles.

There are so many people here trying to sell their stuff that we can't justify a link to eBay pushing their sale down the list.

There have also been alot more people asking "who made this" and "what is it worth". These are not supposed to be in the sales area period.

We need to tighten this up out of respect for the sellers here.

If your post is missing, hopefully this will explain why.

I agree

I hope I don't offend anyone. But I hate when somebody has something to sale an they ask for offers. I mean if you want to sale it, you already have price in mind of what you will take. So post it this is not ebay side show.

Is this also links to cue dealer sites also?

I hope this also includes cuemakers that offer nothing to AZ except their for-sale posts. Certain ones posts non-stop... and in between bump their threads several times a day. And to add insult to injury, they don't even have the courtesy to become Club Members. All take and no give!

If the cue is for sale HERE, ok. If you need to go to another site to buy it...NO. If you're just showing it off...then use the gallery. If you have a question, ask the cue maker...etc

Mr. Wilson, should your post read EXCLUDE instead of INCLUDE????

The rules INCLUDE instructions. Dave

In the AZ Billiards tool bar at the top of the screen click on "links"
In the drop down box Click on "Support AzB"

That should take you to the screen where you can become an AZB Club member.

Hope this helps

+1. It seems there has been more "send me offers" than actual prices lately. It gets old.

I agree, but until there is a rule that all For Sale posts must include a price, the "send me an offer" posts will continue. For high end collectors cues I can understand one wanting to keep the sale private. But it has to be one way or the other.

I agree that the "pm me for a price" on certain cues is ok, and I do it, but the "send offers" doesnt work too well....because they are always annoyed with the offer:thumbup:

I like this! ;)

I think the raffles should be allowed. They really are a function of AZ billiards just moved to a different site for obvious reasons. I also have no prob with the ebay links as long as people tried to sell here first unsuccessfully. Same logic with the raffles.

I'm hoping Mr. Wilson wasn't referring to the links to the raffles in the raffle section, just links in the for sale section.

Maybe he can clarify that point.

Since AZ can no longer do raffles, why not have a section where members can post the links to their ebay auctions?

Just a thought.

I agree 100% and I don't mind if I offend anyone.

If you want to sell something, put a price in your post. If you want to auction something, put your item on an auction site.

My suggestion regarding the wanted/for sale forum is to create sub forums based on price.
$500 dollars or less
$500 - $1,000
$1,000 or more

I seldom look beyond the first page and that would keep cues in my price range on the front page for a longer period of time.
