I couldn't find any info on the forums about Stalev's reappearance at this year's dcc. Can anyone give an update on how he did? He seems to have finished in the running with the big names. Is he still playing as sharp as we remember him? Was he in action this year? Any info would be greatly appreciated....

I watched his match with Darren Appleton where he was pretty soundly beaten.
Had dinner with him two nights in a row at the bar in Binion's Steakhouse, but he was into his phone with earbuds talking Russian, so we didn't chat much

He breaks the balls at warp speed, as hard as anyone I have ever seen hit the ball. I wanted to get some photos of it, but missed out. He launches his whole body into the break...really amazing to watch.

Thats a great picture,of a great player!i wish he would come back to pool,he can play with anybody,when he is playing.

Stalev's playing cue looked like it had splices in the shaft. Really looked cool. Great player.

That must be the one. I only saw the cue when he had it sticking out of his case. That's one cool looking instrument!

anyway, I saw a match of him versus charlie williams, it was in the derby city back in 2001 or 2000 and it was recorded in accu-stats, in fact, it was the first match of him in a tape, and so it was the first match for charlie williams on tape aswell, if you haven't seen this match, believe me, you are missing out, it was a beautiful played match by both, I won't say the score or who won, you gotta see it!
