Hey Guys,

I'm not much for the older stuff so I have no idea what this may be worth. I just picked it up and I was considering selling it but I have no idea what it's worth.

I was told it was made in 1973.
Anyone have any idea?

Thanks,
'Mash

Pretty sure it's a PB-5 from the 70's PB line. Manufactured by Adam for Palmer. Still a nice cue. I'll let someone else chime in on value for sure but if I had to guess I'd say 250-350. I might be way off though. The case is very nice!

This cue was made for Palmer by Adam Custom Cues, and it was made in the late 70's into the 80's.

Here is a link to a website that will give you all the information you need:

Hope this helps

Tate here on AZ will know exactly what you should know about it.

Thank you. I just sent him a pm asking for some additional help.

Thank you also to the others who posted. I did check the Palmer collector website and you guys are correct, it is the PB-5.

Yes, this is right. Here's a link to the catalog:

They are prized as decent playing cues, are of full splice construction (sometimes cut short under the wrap) and are semi-collectible at this point. Most likely the cue was made around 1980 give or take a few years. I would say the value is $300 - $350 with one shaft.

The case is nice - I haven't seen that color before. The case is probably worth at least $150 in that shape.

Chris

Ps. the case may be worth a little more if it holds more than 1 cue and two shafts - I can't tell from the pic.

I would put the value of the cue and case as a package at around $500, I had a Palmer similar in okay condition and sold it for around $250 or so I believe as it needed a refinish.

Here are some additional photos for you guys.

I've also listed it in the for sale section if anyone is interested.

Nice cue and case. Nice example of the era of Palmer.

I believe the case is indeed rarer. The cue seems to be in pretty decent shape though.

Thanks for the pics. Good luck with your sale.
