I would have to say a high end cue would be anything made by what most would agree a high end cuemaker. I would consider a Gilbert jump/break at $450 to be a high end cue.

Price has nothing to do with a high end cue. Quality of work and material would dictate
whether it is a high end cue. I see some high dollar cues, but not all are really a high end cue.
Some are just over priced to make it look like a high end cue.
I love threads like these...
You will get an infinite amount of answers because everyone has their own definition.
It reminds me of what is the best cue thread or best tip or best chalk. There is never an answer...
My definition of a high end cue is when you constantly get PM's for people to buy the cue - then it's high end. LOL.
There are people on this forum that do not think twice at spend $20-30-40,000 on a cue. Like the guy in this thread - anything over $500 is artistry. Personally, I think that is a BS price point because it is one man's opinion.
What he said. Money doesn't make a high end cue. The material's quality and hours of design does. JMHO. Chris
Anything that says 1 of 1 on them. Like my two Dale Perry's.
Thats high end, yes? No one else in the world has them ceptin me.
The reason i asked this question is i didnt want to say hey i have a hi end cue that makes me too nevous to play with.
And have the next person say thats not a high end cue!
