How good does Joey A play?

There is only one way to find out. You should go down to the "World's Pool Hall" also known as Buffalo Billiards and play him. I hear he has a major weakness that is easily exploited. If you give him a ton of weight he tends to relax and miss a bunch of balls. The higher you bet and the more weight he gets the more balls he ends up missing. So get down to Buffulos, bet really high and give him the world. Report back here after your match.

JoeyA plays so good, he can run out a set with alternating breaks! :shocked2:

Here is a shot by Joey. It took 5.5 minutes, but I edited it down to 3! lol.

What Lucid Meandering that was
lucid :
1.
easily understood; completely intelligible or comprehensible: a lucid explanation.

2.
characterized by clear perception or understanding; rational or sane: a lucid moment in his madness.

3.
shining or bright.

4.
clear; pellucid; transparent.
Meandering :
1.
to proceed by or take a winding or indirect course: The stream meandered through the valley.

2.
to wander aimlessly; ramble: The talk meandered on.

TheThaiger...Obviously you've never played one pocket, a real "man's game"! LOL I think anybody who cannot post without always being negative about everything should be shot...between the ears sounds reasonable, but even in the leg will do. :D

You stuck it out then? I have a rule - if a shot isn't made within 30 secs, click.

Anyone taking over 30 seconds on a shot needs shooting.

I know right? I only watched because I knew Joey was going to make the ball and get out after all that. What a shitty ending to that movie as Rob rushes the table to clean up like a hungry hyena at a gut pile. Not what I expected after the hype.:boring2:

JC

Edit: No wonder I was confused I thought they were playing ten ball and the score was 6 games each. I hate one pocket even more now. LMAO at myself!

OMG...that was too funny. I kept leaning forward in my chair trying to will JoeyA to just go ahead and make the shot...then I looked at the time left on the video and realized there was another 2:45 to wait! :p

I liked the exasperated hand gesture after you didn't pocket the ball...as if you though it was going in?!?! :scratchhead:

(Just teasing Joey!!!)

Jason,
I did think I was going to make it. I really did. :D:D I practice this shot regularly. Well, I practice many of these type two rail banks which I learned from watching one of JoeVillalpondo's DVD's on kicking. The problem with this particular shot is the ten ball was covering the 5 ball a little bit and I was afraid of hitting the ten ball.

I didn't want to kick off the side and bottom rail to the back side of the 5 ball for fear of scratching. I tried to imagine myself kicking off the to rail and going straight at the 5 but I had to use Inside English to staighten the cue ball and I just didn't have the confidence to shoot that. I could ahave scratched easily on both of those options.

I figured with all of that practicing those two rail shots, I should finally put it to the test. I just didn't know how hard it would be to pull the trigger on hill-hill.

The table rolled off a bit and you couldn't shoot the cue ball slowly so when Robb jacked up to FIRE the 5 ball in, it hit the points and bounced out and gave me an easy out. I would never have slow rolled that straight in 5 ball either. That's the whole story. Robb still talks to me in spite of me taking so long to shoot that shot. (And for those who don't know, it was not one pocket).

when you know, your going to possibly give ball in hand and you will get run out in a serious game, you take all the time you need to figure it out, my opinion.

I heard he could beat the 3 ball ghost.

Joey havnt you ever heard think long ur probably wrong? (unless your Dick Lane...holy crap)
Nice hit though.I would of played it 2 rails kicking off the bottom rail.
I think better things could of happened for you.

So I was right after all? It was hill-hill ten ball? Damn you Scott Lee!!!

The youngest kid in Lil' Joe's video would have gotten up on a stool and made that ball first try!

JC

Edit, I went over to my table and set that up a bunch after watching the video. Personally I think three rails shooting to the right and coming in behind it off the foot rail is the easiest most reliable route to make something good happen.

When Joey came to New Town, he was too close to Chuck.
Chuck could feel the heat and went to Alaska for a couple of days.

Chuck Norris's daughter never lost her virginity because he would just go take it back. Joey crushed this guy giving him the last three and the break, so you know joeya plays real strong.

lol. Actually it was 9 Ball hill hill. If the 10 was out there it must have been because the players were using all the balls after a cheese shot on the previous rack.

Joey did win this set!! (not in all the glory he thought it would be)
