What would you do if you had to play Chris Bartram a race to 11 games even for $1000.

Of your money. How would you handle this match up? No games on the wire, no weight from him! Play him even..... Perhaps you would just give him the money?

I'D GET BUDDY HALL TO PRETEND HE WAS ME AND PLAY HIM, HE'S MAH FRIEND. TEE HEE HEE

plan A or plan B?

Plan "A" Consult Tonya Harding.

Plan "B" When you shake hands with him use a very soft weak grip and very limp wrist. The first time he bends over to shoot manage to stand behind him. After he shoots ask him, "Did anyone ever tell you that you have a very nice ass?" Stand behind him most of the time he shoots after that while making appreciative sounds. If he can fade that he'll earn a thousand dollars!

This is an easy one... since I "have" to play him, then he "has" to eat my special Brownies (containing 4 chocolate laxitives each) one 20 minutes before we start and another one after each game, implement a 30 second shot clock, oh yea and no bathroom breaks... if any of the above rules are broken he forfeits the set immediately...

Getting old does have some advantages.

Naw.....I'd just bring in some big 'ol 6'8", 330 lb., non-shaven hairy dudes and threaten violence !!!

Maniac (is NOT mad at his money)

I would get robbed, plain and simple.

I could play 100 sets at this and not win one.

Jump in the box and play.. What else is there to discuss. If you made such a game you better be able to play. That or play on a level that you never have known. Personally I think the score would be close but I would lose. Im not afraid to play against anybody.. Its just a game isnt it

This ^^^

I might as well play golf against Tiger Woods, tennis against Roger Federer, or basketball against Kobe Bryant. I have as much chance in those match-ups as this one...

Hu, So you're saying you would just do what you normally do? LOL :D

naah

Normally against lesser players I just tell them their girlfriend has a nice ass. Works about as well. Against Chris I'd break out the big gun!

I think they key is to play someone with that speed a game where they can not get comfortable and in a rhythm. Unless you can match them run for run (he runs a 3 pack, you better be able to do the same). A game like 1 pocket or full rack banks should help limit the rhythm factor.

I assume you don't know Chris very well based on this statement. He is very deliberate and more than happy taking his time playing one pocket or any other game. He may even beat up on you worse in those games than he would in 9 ball. How fast or slow you play has no effect on his play at all. He is a true grinder in every sense of the word.

Id play just to see if I could win any of the games... chances are I wouldnt win one, but I would still give it a try.

One of the dumbest threads in long time

The real question would be: What would you need from Chris B. in race to 11 for a G. Why all the fantasy BS? I'm sure I would need 3-4 games on the wire and last 3-4 playing 10 ball.

I'd kick his ass and then give him a spot the next time we play.

Power of positive thinking! In reality, I'd focus on playing relaxed and safety more than I currently do.
