I love this thread. Although I'm still a little pissed off that Trent did the right thing and didn't cut that cue into pieces and post on youtube. Now it looks likes the blade wasn't sharp enough to search thru all the packaging material? I'm on the edge of my seat. I'm thinking only a cage match could justifiably settle this one. Please, someone post a youtube video soon.
 
2.15 is pretty close to on the mark...a little on the light side of packing material if shipped in a usps box.....i ship all my stuff in pvc tubes so its alot heavier.....but for the number you stated to be evidence you or meridian needs to post a pic of the label or reciept. Truefully the more I think about it the more i agree box weight means little.....a stone in the bottom would bring it up to the same weight as a butt and two shafts. I think both parties are capable of being vindictive at this point and one of them has a right to be mad.

I am quite entertained by this. I almost wish this was staged just for the mere fact I really shouldn't be entertained by this kind of lunacy.

I had a list of possible endings for this,,,100 posts ago,or so. This was not one of them. But I did say,,,maybe the cue will get lost in the mail. LMAO

Either way, i think trent dug this hole for himself, and now has 2 simple options:

-go back to being done with selling cues through this site, give a big middle finger to meridian, and move on.

-send 2 more shafts to an agreed upon person on this site, who will then send them to meridian. The lack of good customer service up to this point should demand trent makes this right if he is really sorry and wants to try and rebuild his name/cue making on here, even if it means meridian is walking away with 4 shafts.

my business consulting fee is not cheap, and i expect trent to pay me for my services promptly. Send cash only, and might as well send it twice, i can tell you already that the 1st envelope will be empty.

Aside from all the initial nonsense, one of these two has made a terrible error of judgment with these shafts. What a great idea it must've sounded at the time!

With the pictures presented by Trent, I would venture to guess that the shafts were in the box. The package weighed 2.9lbs. A cue with two shafts is about 1.5 pounds. Theres almost no way to put enough packaging in a triangle box to make a butt by itself weigh 3lbs based on all the cues I've shipped.

Just my opinion. I have no side in this fight. I believe Trent was wrong up until the apology, but this looks to me to be vendictive on the part of Larry until more evidence comes into play.

This turned into a comedy at some point. I actually laughed out loud when you said you were eager to get rid of the cue. Really? After this long, you were eager to get rid of it???

Trent is trying

Do not know either of these guys, just here for the entertainment. I will say this at least Trent is trying, seems like videotape man has disappeared. Most criminals do get caught because they can't keep their lies straight, and figure out 'what ifs" before they speak.

Everyone can see that Larry is a vindictive whinny biatch and prefers to rake Trent over the coals instead of trying to be productive and solving the problem. He just keeps adding fuel to the fire with his posts....
 
I have been reading this a little, just wondering if Trent owes him the shafts at all. He returned the butt as promised and not charge a penny, right? Someone enlighten me.
