I'm so glad you took such precautions and were right on top of it. Sorry for all the aggravation you have had to go through Michael.
Are the cameras very visible and he just wasn't paying attention? The one you showed was like right on top of his head fer crying out loud! If so, then OMG, what an extra special dufus he is. I'm speechless.

This camera is right at around 5'9" to 6'0 in height. It was literally mounted right in front of him.
We have signs and cameras everywhere, as well as a huge monitor displaying it.
Hard to miss.
Someone who will stay unknown will try to help me to load up the original videos.
I played this video and recorded it with a cheap camera, but I think it is enough to show what transpired.

Hopefully, this will eliminate or at least cut down on the thefts from your booth.
Some things I took of note on that tape...
I assume it was you that came back into the booth, seemingly checked inventory and then went out to the left after him.
I'm guessing you saw him walk out of the booth and wondered where he got those cues, that must have looked familiar to you.
When he was in the act, he looked over to his right, must have not seen anyone paying attention and decided to walk. He used his left hand and body to hide the cues from (I'm presuming) someone that was in the booth not watching.
Very brazen.

Even though I saw him took the cues, it took a while to register.
We have a system where we can check for missing cues. I had to do a double-take because of how brazen the crime was.
He was looking over his left. I was sitting in a dark corner to his right looking into the booth. Yes, he was using his body and hand to hide the cues from one of my security guy and an employee. Both were at the other side since I stationed on this side.
A video is worth a thousand words/lies. I wonder how much stuff he has stolen with no camera around. Good work catching him.
Maybe he figured the security cameras weren't going to be a problem becuase he didn't think anyone was watching him. I mean maybe it doesn't matter if he's caught on tape if he gets away and disappears. You'd have to find the guy in order for the tape to do any good.
Mike, in any event one thing that occurred to me from watching that video is that it was a good thing you were right behind him because had he got another few steps ahead of you he would have been just one more fat person in a sea of fat people and you might have lost him.

Michael, you say you were stationed to the left side of camera view. So your booth went farther left than the wall of cues we see on the video that extended out to near the hallway?
I was surmising your booth ended there and that by chance you were walking down the hall and saw some guy walk out with 3 cues, and you were highly suspicious and jumped on it ASAP.
Regardless, that was awesome security work on Omega's part.
I, for one, will make sure I come shake your hand next time I see the Omega booth , introduce myself, and furthermore, check out your products!
