I gotta be frank with you Lee. A member of this very forum ripped me off for a great sum of money. It was exposed and proven for everyone to see but nothing was done about it and some, even though they knew the truth, still hugged his lug nuts -- so I left for a period of time. Then I started thinking about what drives me and that is the promotion of our sport through live streams. I knew, and still know, that this is "the" forum when it comes to getting the word out about anything pool related. I took a strong look at the members and came to the belief, and think you will agree, that a "ton" of them are golden and a few "pounds" of them are not so much. I came back because of the game and put the "poundage" on total disregard. I suggest you do the same.

Like the "tonnage" hereat, this game is in your veins, part of your DNA, and you love it beyond the bone level and into the marrow. This is your home and the lights are always on .. it's just dimmer in some rooms!

Grab the rack and keep playing sir!

They should have banned the POS for it, its actually disgusting how clueless people are on here when it comes to him. The guy has no decency and has made no effort to pay you back a dime.

Okay, since it has been brought up in a couple of past posts, and as a consumer who just joined this year: who is this POS and does he sell or transact business through here? Not to sound braggadocios in any way at all, but I have already spent a little $$$ through this site in 2012 (some may consider it significant, other may consider it chicken feed), however, I would prefer not to deal with any POS's in the future. Prefer not to be one of the "clueless people on here"...

If this is taboo to re-hash for all newbies to see, please PM me so I can steer clear. Please take this post in the spirit intended (consumer protection, nothing less, nothing more). Tis merely a request for transparency for those of us who are new on the block without any back story to evaluate.

Hope I don't get flamed for this simple request and much respect. Guess if I do, so be it...

I, and maybe others would like to see you start a forum on YOUR website and open it up to those that have purchased your DVD.

You would be in control of the content.

I looked outside and was like "huh, the yard has a lot more leaves than before".
Northern VA I think is not really in this storm, just a routine rainy day. I love how panicky people buy 30 packs of water, like they expect to be trapped in a cave-in for a month. I guess it's not their fault, the news overhypes these things so much.
 
Just walk away from things. I haven't been posting like I used to as I haven't been really doing anything with pool for the last 5 years. I've only built 2 cues since '06.

I can actually relate to an extent in terms of comments being said about ones ability. I used to take it personal when someone said I couldn't beat this person, or that person. It made me work on my game to prove them wrong. I would beat that person, and then guess what? They would say I got lucky, or that person played bad etc. I eventually just learned to shrug it off and laugh. Life is too short, and you can't make everyone happy no matter how good you play/teach. Don't sweat it, sticks and stones man.

I stopped playing league because of repeated drama and I just wasn't having fun playing the game I love. Now I can shoot for fun whenever I want. Still occasionally my buddies will try to get me to gamble with this person, or re join league etc...and I may eventually down the road...but on my time/terms. I don't complain or even care what people say about my pool ability or lack thereof. It's a game, enjoy doing what you love and just remember this is a forum where everyone will have an opinion right or wrong....it's a template to post it on.
 
I read on here somewhere that sometimes things like the events you have just gone through can dramatically distort your outlook. If you take some time off to reset your mind, I'm sure you well feel better about the situation.

I actually liked the "old" John better. I used to get plum tickled reading some of his arguments. That man missed his "calling". Should've been a defense attorney. Always had his facts straight and presentable. Never let up. Beat people down with persistance.

I was married to my first wife for 14 years. It was like taking college courses, Arguing 101 & 102. I thought I had gotten good at it. I was no comparison to John :grin:! If he ever disagreed with something I posted and tried to bait me into an argument, I had enough sense to back down.
