10 ball- Shane, 9 ball- Billy johnson/Wade Crane.
This would be my choice
Man i never seen a break like that,WOW, IAM GLAD I WATCHED THAT!, Thats the winner folks!
Theres a fellow from the philly area that goes by the name of sam (about 30-40 big white guy) he came in my pool room a couple of years ago, he broke the balls so hard that the cue ball would get yellow spots on it from the 1ball, he says he broke qballs before and 1 balls from his break (i never seen it) but Sam _____ did play jam up pool, could not get him a game here in baltimore, except with Slivka, but i quickly declined that idea!
Earl Strickland had 1 of the best 9 ball breaks of all time bar none!
Richie,
Any chance it was Sammy K from Sayre, PA. Big, big white guy with a pig tail on the top of his head? Owned a room in Binghamton, NY for a while. Used to see him aroung during the 80's and 90's. Been missing from the pool world for a while. Perhaps someone who knows him can jump in. HUGE BREAK!!!!

Based on what happened at the us open this year.... Shane by far, in terms of consistency+ power+ accuracy.
I want to know by public opinion, who is the best breaker in the game?
This question can only be based on two essential variables; Power and Cue ball control.
De luna, charle bryant even danny basavich or how ever you spell his last name.
I am not a fan of the softer cut break..
