I was gonna not say anything but I read Mr Wilson post.
Just for discussion, my ban was uncalled for. It appears that CJ can make abusive remarks about others and that was what his comment about Lou was, but when the same is returned to him, its a foul.
I'd like to know why CJ's comment about Lou was not abusive? It is not like it was the first time he has taken pot shots at Lou.
If you want people to learn from my example, best explain what the differences is that makes one comment more abusive than the other.

Yeah i think Wizards is a different place now with furniture style tables . Most of the places i mentioned were where people played after work and casual players , believe CJ's and Clicks on Abrams were where serious pool was played , and i guess Wizards too .In 1980 i had a stereo put in my car at DalWorth car stereo , it was where Hawley's is today , i lived in some new apartments nearby.
hello the shooting i was their 20 ft.from man shot
was a tall blk male wearing a straw hat young shooter was a short blk male with a huge blk male and hot white girl/trashy girl and he didn't shoot directly at him he shot at ground rickashaed and hit man in spin hurling upward and when paramedics came he went into shock and passed out not sure of his status but i haven't seen him they arrested the two males and not the female wtf is what i said i watched it happen from the window i yelled at gilbert my bartender saying their was a fight the man owed the shooter 200 dollars and they were trying to get the money from him pushing him and messing with his car threatening him saying i have a strap 2 minutes later he was shot it was 9mm we found the casing many other have happened before this incident and they can happen anywhere anytime. i an one of the apa captains at hawleys i love the place and hang out with walter and my teammates often. hope you guys are happy now that you know as much as everyone else who was their.

CJ's Billiard Palace was one of the most successful pool rooms in the country for a number of years. Unfortunately, as you pointed out, the area changed and it was very challenging to keep the "right" clientele.
I knew when I started recognizing all the different "gang signs" it was time to start looking for another location. I've recently started looking again between Dallas and Ft. Worth, it's about time for another CJ's to open up and promote pool like there's "no tomorrow".
I'm certain pool can become very popular again in the DFW area, especially with an influx of televised events and commercials.

Wow! You spelled "toe the line" correctly. I had to look this up the other day, as I thought it was "tow the line," as in pulling something. I'm always learning something new every day. I never knew there was a "toe the line." :embarrassed2:
There's no double standard. Folks get irritated when a moderator tries to enforce a sense of calm on the forum. Some people spew words from their keyboards that are hurtful, causing anger, and by their own admission, they do "enjoy playing with their toys" on a forum. Others call it being "honest." I guess it depends on how you interpret it.
There are other forums on the Internet where anything goes. Remember RSB?
I prefer to read good pool content. Every now and then, things can get unruly, but as long as it doesn't get personal, attacking with malice aforethought, I enjoy a good debate on topics. When people attack, claiming they are only being honest, playhng with their toys, et cetera, it's in bad taste; thus, why a moderator is needed.
Look, I don't agree with the referee sometimes in a football game, but imagine what the game would be like without him.
I started martial arts training when I was 11, a very long time ago
and at the beginning and end of class we had to line up. There were yellow lines across the dojo floor and you lined up front to back according to rank with your toes on the line. Been toeing the line for 38 years now :thumbup:
