New Ad Banners on Forum in Threads

Is anybody else seeing an ad banner in threads when you open them up to read a post? I have a red one on every thread now.
 
Yes, everyone is seeing them.

We are trying to do something different for our advertisers.

Banner ads

I think this gives great exposure to the advertiser! The better for AZ, the better for all Pool enthusiasts.
 
I blame formerly banned members with multiple user names and dancing monkeys for this travesty!
 
Glad I'm not the only one. I just removed a bunch of adware and was worried I didn't get it all.

It's difficult to add advertisements without being really annoying. Kudos, I don't mind these at all, now that I know it's by design.
 
I'm just glad that Poison's new V3 line-up of jump and jump/breaks is one of the ads I see often. Otherwise, I would have been oblivious for awhile to something I'm actually looking forward to purchasing.

Actually, JAM, there is one on your post/thread, for Tiger Cues. I thought you put it there !
 
It's not as bad as most web sites that pop up some crappy ad in front of your face for 30 seconds.

Mike -- when I print a post now, if the post has sentences that carry over from one line to the next, the right side of the text in each line is missing on the print out.

Does that possibly have anything to do with the presence now of these ad banners? If so, what is the solution for printing (other than copying the post to Word or something else and printing from there)?
