60's Ginacue Titlist

This cue made its way to my doorstep today and what a pleasant surprise it was. Judging by the logo and what the previous owner told me this is a 60's Gina. Other than a few bumps above the buttcap and the normal 40-50 year old dirt and grime she's a beauty. The butt and shaft roll straight and everything is original down to the cortland wrap. I hope some of you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoy looking at it.

OK.....I hate you. :D

This is the kind of Gina that seriously turns my crank.

So...yeah....I seriously have to hate you..... :D ;)

Thanks for showing off!

That is a beautiful cue. I wish more cue makers would take note of where the wrap begins on this cue....Stop pushing those point up so high on Titlist conversions.

This, too, is one of my dream cues.

So you're the one that scooped that up, what a great buy, nice work. I do not know how i missed seeing that on Ebay. How long was it out there before you picked it up?

Since the implication is that the cue is worth more than the $700 it went for, what's the cue worth?

I had this cue in my hands the other day, and it is truly a great example of a nice classic cue. Used enough to have great patina, but clean enough to not need any work.

I think we should have taken pictures while you we here.

In reality, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it.... Since, I'm sure that isn't the answer you are looking for, I'd venture a guess that this cue brings 2-2.5k depending on the buyer. There was a similar cue with a different backend (domino model) on Ebay a few weeks back that brought @2k, and that had a slight roll in the butt, but had 2 shafts.

What he said, that sounds about right, maybe a little more

Just a couple things....... Yes, this is the cue in the eBay link. The sellers realized their spelling mistake a few hours after I bought the cues. Never once did they question the selling price but did state in a message a few days after the sale that they realized the cue was worth quite a bit more than they sold it for but were happy with the selling price. If I was going to flip it, I'd probably contact the seller and send them 50% of my profit but this cue isn't going anywhere other than to the back of my gun safe. Something else might come out now and get sold to recoup some cash on but not this cue. So for those of you that PM'd asking if its for sale, well you have your answer.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, everyone gets lucky occasionally......it was just my time.

Marcus, if you'd like to photograph the cue I'd be happy to stop by with it again sometime.

What you paid for it, has no bearing on what it's worth......

I'm at the shop most of the time, if you want better pics, stop by with it.

Agreed.

Titlist Ginacues arent rare, but this one has twist.

Nice cue.
